It is a picture of a wrestler or other famous person to act as the "face" of your created wrestler. For example, my guy's Cyrus Truth, and his character rep is CM Punk.

No. It can be a famous person. The idea is to pick a pic base that the GFX guys can easily use to make graphics and stuff as needed.

I see no problem in that.

It would help fill the void in between each show.

Poor Kabel's computer pretty much hates him.

If graphics are what you need, you might try asking Cahill. Or I hear Willis has a pretty productive GFX thread.

    Re: Questions/Comments about E-Fed

E-fed is electronic fedding. The bookers (Harry Morgan, Cahill, Jimmy King, Cyrus T) will write the TVs and PPVs. We make our own character and we will write promos or roleplays as they are sometimes called, which they will grade and if our grade beats the opponent's grade, then we win the match.

It's basically being a wrestler virtually on the indies. We make a character and by promo work (work ethic may be it in indy wrestling, not promo work) we can win matches. Someone else can probably explain it better. It's real fun to do though. You should do a little trial run. Contact me if you want me to explain it more better and no one has explained it better here already.

    Re: Questions/Comments about E-Fed

It's basically a written RPG. You get to create your own wrestler, follow his/her career throughout their tenure, and compete against other players. You get to take part in awesome stories that you yourself can have a hand in making. It's also one hell of a creative outlet. Here should be a thread somewhere to explain it in depth, I hope to see you sign up.

Credit for this lovely sig goes to The EC, who is beautiful no matter what they say.

I have such sights to show you.

    Re: Questions/Comments about E-Fed

Ok fellas, help me get a grip on this whole idea here. I'm heavily considering throwing my hat in here but I am pretty damn confused about how everything works and I have a series of questions. Let me get this straight. I make up a character and fill out that sign up thing, and within that sign-up sheet I write out a promo, correct? Now what is the nature of that promo to be exactly? Is there a certain "format" per-say one should follow, certain details to always include and cover? are there preferred settings for a promo to take place? Are they typically scenes that take place at an arena like as is normally done on television, or could a promo take place at a downtown strip club in the v.i.p. section with a bottle of Dom chilling in a bucket of ice with 10 strippers dancing around while my character puffs on a Cuban cigar and tosses stacks of 100's in the air to make it rain? See where I'm going with this? What is the framework here? Especially on the promo that goes into the sign up sheet?

Then, from there what do you do? Let's say you make up this character, what then? How do you really participate from there? Is it always churning out promo's regarding an upcoming event, likely having to do with whatever the bookers write for said event? I'd like to really know how this works before I attempt this. I guess a big thing I want to know is what kind of, and what level of detail you really want because I can get like Stephen King and paint a detailed picture for you, or I can go about things like I'm writing a less detailed screenplay. You see what I'm getting at here?

    Re: Questions/Comments about E-Fed

You seem to have the basic idea anyway. Promos can be whatever you want. When I was on staff I'd give extra marks for something like what you described as opposed to a backstage interview. The more creative you are, the better you'll score with the judges. By the end of my run, most of my matches were pre-determined for storyline reasons so all my promos ended up backstage or in ring. Before that, I'd try to use a difference scenario or location as often as I could. I went to Italy at one stage to beat up a senior citizen who was related to my rival (with his approval)

The promo in the sign up is just to get your character over. You dont have to do much, it's basically "this is me, blah, blah, blah." Your first few will be about character development until your starting level is figured out, then you'll go into proper feuds where you no longer just focus on your character, but the storyline too.

Best advice I can give is to not over think it. Do what feels right and see how it goes. After your first few matches you should know if that works or if you need to mix it up. There are a lot of promos posted around the place. Have a read of them if you are still not sure.

Thank you. I'm working on it right now and I'm getting close to done. When it's ready I'll go ahead and make the thread, but I think I'll throw what I come up with out there as more of a "Pitch" for your judgement because I doubt I'll get it absolutely right the first time. I've been looking at others the way they structured theirs and I think I'm putting it together well enough. I should have it ready shortly.

Man you can do whatever the hell you want, I always consider it roleplaying more-so than promo'ing. For example in my most recent RP, the first part was an encounter in a bathroom that didn't really relate to anything about my upcoming opponent and the second part was a video aimed purely at my opponent. I've seen brilliant character development RP's that have won big matches without the persons opponent ever even being referred to. It's an open book man, looking forward to you joining.

I cannot think of a name for a talk show type of segment for me. Aka Leon Wellesley's Tea Time.

If someone can come up with a name, it would be greatly appreciated. At a creative slump.

Is there a point in creating a video game if we're never going to play it? Make a real life CWA game, that shit would sell.

We would call it CWA 2K(year) or CWA Presents Adrenaline Rush: The Sequel. I believe we could create the CWA roster and put it on the Universe mode in WWE 2K14, I'm not so sure if EA Sports or Take Two would enjoy making a fed like CWA a video game.

Clique Wrestling Alliance: E-Fed Rules and Guidelines

Clique Wrestling Alliance: Rules and Guidelines

    Updated: July 24th, 2013

It's been a couple of years since we've updated the rules and by-laws of our beloved little e-fed, and a lot has changed and we've seen a fair amount of new sign-ups. So, just so that everyone's clear on what's expected and what you need to do in order to succeed in CWA, here's a refresher course on the rules:

    1. The name of our main TV show is Adrenaline Rush. Cards for Adrenaline Rush and the various PPVs will be posted in the Arena section, typically a week or so before the date of the show.

    2. If your CAW (A.K.A. the wrestler/character you've signed up with and portray) is booked for an event, you will submit a promo/segment in character regarding the match itself and your opponent/opponents. The creative team will then grade your promo against your opponent's submission to determine who wins that particular match. Promos are graded on the following categories:

    * Creativity/Originality: Probably the most important out of the criteria. If your promo is creative and/or something we've never seen before and executed well, it will most likely grab our attention quicker than one that might not be as creative. Experiment with new ideas, explore your character in different ways...you're only limited by your imagination when it comes to presenting yourself.

    * Relevance: It's all right to branch out, but ultimately it's important to keep your promos on topic with the match at hand or the opponent you're facing. Otherwise, it just looks like you're rambling about everything other than the matter at hand, and nobody likes that out of their wrestlers.

*Background and Scene-Setting: Don't be afraid to flesh out the details of where your character is at the time of the promo. And don't limit yourself to simply stating "backstage" or "at the gym." Where precisely is your character? What is he doing at the time?

*Spelling/Grammar/Formatting: Obviously we're not going to be nitpicking every single grammatical mistake, but a clear and easy-to-read promo will usually beat out a messy, clunky, and hard-to-read promo. Think of it in terms of a wrestler cutting a promo. If he mumbles, stutters, or rambles on incoherently, he's not going to get the attention that a wrestler who speaks clearly and cleanly will. Same applies for written promos.

    3. Promos are due on or before the assigned due date (typically two days before the show's date). Extensions can be allowed if asked for before the show, but it's best not to abuse that. Late promos will also be accepted, but will be docked a few points as a result. Bottom line: try to be on time with promos.

    4. Unless given permission by the owner of a CAW, do NOT use another wrestler in your promos. The only exceptions are characters who have been inactive for quite a while, as we tend to use them as "jobbers" for various reasons. If you're not sure of who you can or cannot use for a promo or segment, it's best to either ask the CAW's handler or one of the e-fed staff members.

    5. New sign-ups are allowed one singles wrestler and one tag team at a time. This is so that one person doesn't flood the fed with CAWs. If there's any exceptions to be made, it will be made by the e-fed staff.

    6. NO EXCESSIVE PROFANITY. CWA is on Cable TV, so the lesser swear words like "ass," "damn," "crap," and "hell" are fine. But please try and avoid the heavier swears. We've been a bit lenient on this in the past, but now we're looking to crack down on this. Using these words may result in points being deducted during grading. If you absolutely have to use stronger language, at least censor it yourself.

    7. The "Backstage" area is a place where you can post blogs, journals, or various other things to give your character some more depth. You can also use things posted in the "Backstage" section for promos and segments for the shows themselves, but anything posted in the Backstage area will not be counted or considered when grading for wins and losses match-wise.

    8. The e-fed staff has final say on anything e-fed related. If you have questions, concerns, or ideas as far as CWA is concerned, feel free to shoot a staff member a PM with the details. However, it's best to not complain or bitch about your character in public, as it's not likely going to earn you favor with the Creative Team.

    Current E-Fed Staff

    Current E-Fed Staff

    Jimmy King

The full-time moderator of CWA and all of its various subsections, Jimmy King's the "Vince McMahon" of the e-fed. He's the guy whose job it is to corral the rest of the Creative Team together, take charge of creative direction, approve potential storylines and feuds, and has the final say when it comes to decisions regarding CAWs and angles. Jimmy King may not come up with all the ideas presented by the Creative Team, but all ideas will have his stamp of approval before they are implemented.

Current CAWs: Diego Gonzalez, TJ Styles

    Cyrus T

The highest ranked WC staff member on the team, Cyrus was the one who orchestrated the merger between PNH and CWA back in 2012. Nowadays, he takes a backseat and allows Jimmy King to handle most of the day-to-day happenings with the fed. However, if Jimmy's authority is ever questioned or if members are found breaking WC's rules in the section, expect an unpleasant chat with Cyrus T.

    Current CAWs: Cyrus Truth

    Grim Reaper

Grim has been with the staff for a little over a year now. He's here to help out if Cyrus or Jimmy are not around to deal with any issues a member is having, and he also helps out with match writing, grading, and any ideas that will help the fed in any way.

    Current CAWs: Humanity

This is totally out of the blue... but:

    A. Is it possible to pull a Mick Foley and have your character portray more than one personality, like Samual Hyde and Riff Radley? Except not being different people in one guy, more like Mick in that We know it's him, but he has three different styles of cutting promos.

    B. If So, Would we create a whole new thread or edit it in the same thread as the original character?

Relating to Cyrus posting the rules and talking about the Backstage section, could we bring back the Locker Room? I thought it looked fun, plus the section isn't as booming and that could probably bring it back up to speed?

That's a great idea.Grim I think jimmy king has clint Shepard's rep as mick.Oh just to remind all the new users to the forum and efed you need 20 post's to send a promo in so it can be graded. Don't worry if you sign up without 20 post's you usually have a week before you debute.

If the staff let me I'd run a thing after every show where I'd take Toxic Rain or whatever and have her interview some of the guys?

I'm not actually too sure on how to word this, so bare with me.

Is the move set I wrote out set in stone, as in, will the match writers only use the moves I listed, or will they be creative with it?

My guy is a bit of a Dean Malenko type character, mainly focused on submissions & chain wrestling. Now obviously, I have not listed every move that would fit into that style, such as basic chain wrestling moves & the like, will the match writers add moves where they feel it is needed?

I am hoping so, but thought I would check just in case.

Yeah, we pretty much use the wrestler template as an idea for how the guy would wrestle and write it from there, adding moves or sequences as needed.

If your moveset doesn't have clothesline on it don't be surprised if your guy hits one in the match but your moveset is a great template match writers use to get your character across. So yes in your case if your man is a technician then don't expect match writers to portray him as Brock lesnar!

Thanks for the reply man, I didn't want to leave my guy short handed with only a handful of moves & I was hoping the match writers would write my offense & defense based around style, which has been clarified for me. At 210lbs, my dude aint gonna be Powerbombing many people lol.

I always wanted a blow job from a midget, but that's neither here nor there!

you should always add to your superstar profile! Add moves, taunts, catchphrases! It really helps to get the character you want your guy to be get across! 210 could still powerbomb motherfuckers! Though I doubt you're guy will. This talk did remind me that real life wrestlers break molds! Cesaro is a beast! He'll powerbomb your mum four times in a row! And your mums fat! But cesaro is Lesnar size, I'm using lesnar as an example because dont forget he can do shooting star presses! So just keep your profile up to date and you'll get your guy across well with the writers

It's a fair point to be honest, guys like Lesnar, Bam Bam, Vader etc do break that mold.

I have an idea panned out for my guy & how his skills are going to progress. Thanks for the help guys.

    The Official CWA Newswire

    From CWA.com: September 2013

*CWA's overseas tour of Europe was an overwhelming success, capped off by the stellar PPV event Global Collision in London, England. If you haven't seen it, contact your local pay-per-view provider now or visit www.cwaonppv.com now to learn how to order the replay!

*Major congratulations to our current World Heavyweight Champion Krash, who continues his reign after retaining the championship against a returning Chubby Carlos and the deranged masked assailant Blight. Krash is now almost certain to break the record of most consecutive days as CWA World Heavyweight Champion at 211 days and looks to be in the driver's seat with no scheduled defenses so far. However, knowing that Isaac Richman is...well, Isaac Richman, the champion would do well to keep on his toes.

*Speaking of Chubby Carlos, it seems as if the heavyweight highflyer's surgically repaired knee had not healed as well as expected, as he reaggravated the injury during his match at Global Collision. With so many injuries back-to-back, Carlos has asked for time away from the ring to reevaluate his in-ring career. CWA has agreed, but also have made Carlos an offer to act as one of several CWA overseas ambassadors to various smaller promotions, and we are pleased to announce that Carlos has agreed. With his undeniable charisma and ability to connect with the CWA faithful, we are certain that he will represent the Clique Wrestling Alliance well and do us proud. Thank you Chubby! Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap!

*Despite the controversy surrounding his win, Jack Gekko is your NEW CWA X-Fly/Pure Style Champion after defeating Timmy Sin at Global Collision. And if anybody knows Jack, he and his posse have been crowing about it ever since. As for Timmy Sin, reports are that he has gone on a drunken bender that resulted in a half dozen assault charges and numerous fines. CWA officials have insisted that Timmy Sin attend rehab at an approved facility. No word yet as to when or if he will return to the Clique Wrestling Alliance.

*We also would like to proudly announce that one of CWA's biggest stars has returned to the company in an administrative role. Former World Champion Mr. Willis has been brought back to the Clique Wrestling Alliance as a road agent and talent scout. The man known as "Mr. Sports Entertainment" was involved in several highly-regarded bouts and feuds before finally winning the World Championship from Mr. Showtime back in 2011. Mr. Willis has stated that he is not looking at an in-ring return at the moment but is quoted as saying "Never say never."

*CWA officials have yet to be able to contact former X-Fly/Pure Style Champion Leon Wellesley or his manager Sir Charles Strickland since the loss of his title to Timmy Sin a few months back.

*Adrenaline Rush General Manager Isaac Richman has (when he's not cavorting around with women of lesser repute) been busy at work with several initiatives, namely the revival of the Tag Team Division that he himself said "sucks" as well as a potential renaming of the X-Fly/Pure Style Championship. When asked about the latter, Richman was quoted as saying "The hell does X-Fly mean, anyway? And I can't recall ever approving the name "Pure Style" either. Whatever. I'll talk it over with the Championship Committee and get some ideas. Now, where's my Scotch?"

*It was a wild and vicious battle between the members of No Sold Inc. and True Excellence at Global Collision, but the aftermath is still reverberating. There's been a lot of chatter about the potential of True Excellence if and when they decide to fully commit to tag team wrestling. However, the bigger news is with No Sold Inc...more specifically, with Owen Keenan. Nobody in the locker room has seen or heard from him since Global Collision and there are rumors that his previous legal issues may have resurfaced. Needless to say, whatever the reason, Danny Hound is livid and has promised to, and we quote, "Kill the s**t out of that emo wannabe-prophet and that suit-wearing hood rat motherf***ers!"

*CWA officials are very pleased with the influx of new talent recently. With men like Thomas West, Brett Daniels, Mercenary X, John Crisper, and too many others to mention, the future looks brighter than ever for the best damn wrestling promotion in the world!

*Our next PPV event is the WrestleRoyale, and it's reputation as one of the most important events on the CWA calendar remains true. As always, the winner of the titular battle royale will go on to Five Star Attraction to challenge the World Heavyweight Champion in the main event. Last year, Chubby Carlos turned his WrestleRoyale victory into a World Title win against Cyrus Truth in a classic match. Who'll be the man to get that golden ticket and that opportunity to cement their legacy?

*Keep up-to-date with the happenings around CWA and its wrestlers with the Clique App! Since we assume you're not idiots and know how to download it, we're not going to waste your time explaining how to do it. But the App has many cool features including backstage interviews, match alerts, and more!

*Stay tuned to Adrenaline Rush as we continue the Road to Five Star Attraction!

FTKJames: It felt great being back in the ring at the 9/11 memorial house show. Zacky Sullivan congrats on the win I been watching Adrenaline Rush lately and you have impressed me. You got the FTK stamp of approval.

    Re: The Official CWA Newswire

    From CWA.com January 2014

    Noah Nitro Fired?

If you missed the most recent edition of Adrenaline Rush, well for one shame on you! Also, you missed quite the pipebomb dropped by none other than Noah Nitro. The youngster unleashed a tirade of not so kind words to Adrenaline Rush GM, Isaac Richman, who stood by flabbergasted as Nitro ran him and the company down. As soon as the segment was promptly cut short, Nitro returned backstage and was fired immediately. He was also fined for the language he used during his rant on live television. It is unclear if we will ever see Nitro on CWA television in the near future, but we'll be sure to keep you updated on this story.

    Talent

CWA officials have been quite pleased with Prince Pain as of late, and feel as though the big man has shown a lot of improvement over the last few months. Picking up big victories over the likes of Humanity, and most recently his nemesis Ivan Impact at Five Star Attraction. The future is bright for Pain, so expect to see big things for him in the coming months ahead. Officials have also been pleased with Thomas Jones and Shawn Summers, who have also shown great improvement, and they too can expect big things ahead for them.

    Jack Gekko & FWA

Recently CWA talent and champion, Jack Gekko, signed an open contract with FWA. Gekko will still compete with CWA while also showing up and competing at FWA events as well. Gekko says he sees at an opportunity to show off his god given skills to a whole new audience because the whole world deserves to see Jack Gekko because he's a Gekko and the world needs him.

    Kyle Crosby

At Five Star Attraction we saw the return of Kyle Crosby. For those that are unaware, Crosby was a mainstay back on CWA's now defunct program, High Voltage. Crosby has come back and targeted an old rival of his, "The Icon" Clint Shepard. Shepard and Crosby had a long standing rivalry back on High Voltage where we saw Crosby break into Shepard's home and hold his family hostage while Shepard watched helpless from the arena. When trying to reach Kyle Crosby for a reason why he's going after Shepard he promptly declined and told us to "F**k off!". We then reached Shepard for comment and he has this to say, "I don't really understand why he's chosen to come after me again. I mean come on I'm retired for crying out loud! This is Kyle Crosby we are talking about though so no one really knows what goes on in that twisted mind of his." When asked if he could come out of retirement once more to take on Kyle Crosby, "I don't have any plans at this time to do so. I'm content with sitting at ringside and being a commentator". When asked about the claims that Crosby has made about his personal life, "I'd rather not speak about that."

    Re: The Official CWA Newswire

More news surfacing regarding the Noah Nitro pipebomb from the last edition of Adreanline Rush. One of the victims of Noah's tirade, GM Isaac Richman, has since spoken out about the incident.

"I don't know what to say to be honest. Nitro was a good kid, so that was something that I did not expect from him. He made me lots of money, and well he did cost me some money by bringing in that robot Stephen Hawking, what was I thinking when I agreed to that? Anyways, the thing is that there was actually big plans in store for Noah, but he threw it all away when he unleashed that rant and I did what any boss would have done in that situation and fired Noah Nitro immediately."

When asked if there's a possibility of ever seeing Nitro again in CWA.

"Of course, I'd be more than happy to bring the kid back. Like I said, he brought me some big bucks, but ultimately it's up to Noah if he ever wants to come back. The door is always open, but again it's up to him."

Another target of Nitro's pipebomb was none other than the self proclaimed "King", Cyrus Truth, who had this say in regards to Nitro.

"I used to be just like Nitro back when I first came to CWA where I went up against the authority, but I never complained about the way I was being treated. If I had a problem with someone I let them know straight to their face. You see that's the difference between Noah and myself, at least I had the balls to tell someone how I felt about them to their face. If you had a problem with me Noah, then why didn't you just tell it to me in person instead of airing your grievances out for the whole world to hear. Also, I don't know where you get off saying I have some backstage pull, but that couldn't be any further from the truth. I worked hard and busted my ass each and every night to get to the position I'm in, not by kissing ass. I hope you do decide to come back some day because if you do I'll be waiting, and I'll be the first one to greet you and not with a "Hello, how have you been?" or a "How do you do?" No, I'll be greeting you with my fist to your face."

    Breaking News

    NITRO SPEAKS OUT AGAIN

Just moments after defeating Yosihiro Kamakazz in his debut JONAH match, in what was noted as a classic, a battered and bruised Noah Nitro took to the microphone to thank the japanese fans for there support.

But it didn't take the young man too long before CWA was bought up once again.

Nitro criticized Ash Sorrow for agreeing with what Nitro did. He went on to claim that he regretted not saying even more and that he has been tormented by not saying everything he's wanted to say. After running down Isaac Richman and CWA Creative he revealed he has been inundated with calls and e-mails from CWA staff trying to resign Nitro. Nitro all but ruled out a CWA return in the near future unless he would be allowed to return on his own terms. And finally Nitro had some choice words for Cyrus Truth. Calling him a coward for not saying things to his face.

Nitro has signed a contract with JONAH and AMLL but all signs seem to be that Nitro won't be returning to CWA anytime soon

    Re: Questions/Comments about E-Fed

Yes, I have a question. I'm highly interested in signing up for CWA, so I was wondering the maximum numbers of wrestlers allowed. I saw people get one person or one tag team. Is it fair to get one wrestler and one manager the first time signing up? Just trying to get an idea of what I could sign up as, and I'm exploring all options really.

If you're just signing up a singles wrestler and you want a manager, that's fine. The rule's in place to prevent people from signing up multiple singles wrestlers at a time.

If you wanna do a tag team that's fine as well because we have some people (myself included) that control a tag team, and that counts as one account since they're a team and you control both of them.

Nope. If you get in a match with one of the judges, you send the promo to the other judges.

    Re: The Official CWA Newswire

    CWA Newswire - February 20th 2014

It is being that after his heinous attack on commentator Clint Shepard, that Kyle Crosby is being forced to publicly apologize for his actions and he will do so in Richmond at Retribution. In case you may have missed last week's Adrenaline Rush, after going through a rough fatal four way match, Kyle Crosby brutally assaulted CWA legend and commentator, Clint Shepard. For those that don't recall, there is a storied past between these two that dates back to several years ago when Shepard was still an active competitor.

Isaac Richman was going to suspend Kyle Crosby for his actions, but instead decided it was best to just have Crosby publicly apologize. Knowing Crosby's past, it's very unlikely that there will be an actual apology, but we'll just have to wait and see what Crosby has up his sleeve.

Speaking of Clint Shepard, he will not be calling the action for the Retribution PPV as he'll still be recovering after that assault. It is being reported that Clint suffered a concussion after having his head slammed repeatedly on the announce desk. Filling in for Clint Shepard will be none other than CWA Fan Favorite, Chubby Carlos. Carlos, who is still recovering from his knee injury and has since become a spokesperson for CWA, has happily volunteered to fill in for Clint. It is still unclear when Shepard will return behind the desk, so until then Carlos will do his best to fill the role.
