Cryme Tyme (JTG & Shad) def. The Highlander’s (Robbie McAllister & Roby McAllister) - Tag Team match; Earlier in the night, D-X would come to the ring and rib Cryme Tyme, getting back at them for their antics lately. Cryme Tyme joined them in the ring and had fun with it. Both teams let it be known they planned to walk with the World Tag Team Championship after New Year’s Revolution.

Jeff Hardy and Johnny Nitro (w/Melina) def. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch - Tag Team match; Nitro was mainly focused on outperforming Jeff here and ended up finishing the match with a solo effort rather than teamwork. Post-match, Nitro and Melina backed up the ramp as Nitro smirked at Jeff, telling him he’ll see “The Extreme Enigma” this Sunday.

    Randy Orton def. Matt Striker

Chris Masters def. Rene Dupree via submission. Post-match, Cena sneaked into the ring behind Masters as he was celebrating and tried to give him some comeuppance, but Masters turned the tables and locked in The Master Lock, before dropping Cena limp on the mat. Masters stood proudly looking down over Cena.

Carlito def. Charlie Haas (w/Viscera) via DQ. Umaga attacked Carlito and laid him out inside the ring, while Estrada gave instructions in the background.

Shelton Benjamin and Victoria def. Edge & Lita - Mixed Tag Team match; Post-match, there was some bickering between Edge and Lita as Edge’s presumably accidental actions cost Lita, who was pinned by Victoria.

Matt Hardy, Paul London & Brian Kendrick def. Montel Vontavious Porter, William Regal & Dave Taylor - 6-Man Tag Team match; MVP spent a lot of time on commentary talking about how he was focused on winning the Royal Rumble and how Matt Hardy wasn’t even on his radar. MVP wasn’t on the apron when his teammate was pinned and didn’t seem too concerned about it. Post-match, Matt pointed back-and-forth between himself and MVP, saying “It’s going to be me and you.” as MVP backed up the ramp, rolling his eyes and waving Matt off.

Mr. Kennedy def. Joey Mercury; Post-match, Finlay and Little Bastard came to the ring and stood near the apron. Little Bastard was animated as he rapidly stepped in place, while putting up his dukes and pointing at Mr. Kennedy. Finlay stared at Mr. Kennedy with a straightface. Mr. Kennedy had some words for Finlay the mic didn’t pick up, but it was clear he understood the message.

Jamie Noble def. Kid Kash, Super Crazy, Scotty 2 Hotty, Funaki and Psicosis - #1 Contenders Cruiserweight Open for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Rey Mysterio def. Hardcore Holly; Earlier in the night, Gregory Helms did backstage interview where he talked about him being the greatest cruiserweight and Cruiserweight Champion in Smackdown history. He drops names and drives a point to say how he’s eclipsed everything Mysterio did in the division. When Mysterio’s World Heavyweight Championship win was brought up, Helms walked off; Helms was on commentary for the match.

The Undertaker def. Tatanka; Post-match, Batista’s music hit and he came onto the stage, flexing, as he stared at Taker with intensity. Taker looked back at Batista with a glare of his own.

The Great Khali (w/Daivari) def. Sylvan; King Booker and Queen Sharmell were on commentary. King Booker tried to talk Khali down as a non-threat to his championship. Post-match, The Great Khali and Daivari went to the ropes as The Great Khali said something to King Booker, while pointing at his World Heavyweight Championship. King Booker looked at Daivari, demanding to know what The Great Khali said. Daivari told King Booker The Great Khali says his days as champion are numbered, while smirking. King Booker clutched his championship with a concerned look on his face, as he grabbed Queen Sharmell hand, who also looked worried and the two of them would make their way to the back, keeping a concerned look towards The Great Khali as they shuffled off. The Great Khali went to the opposite ropes closest to his fleeing upcoming opponent, as he and Daivari looked on.

The Highlander’s (Robbie McAllister & Rory McAllister) def. Viscera and Charlie Haas, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch and Eugene & Jim Duggan - Four Corners Tag Team match; Post-match, Viscera and Haas looked at each other like their partnership had ran its course.

Nicky def. Mikey, Kenny, Mitch and Johnny - Fatal-5-Way match [The winner earns immunity from being fired.]; Post-match, Nicky acted like he’d never teamed with his opponents, calling them losers and laughing at them as he backed up the ramp.

Lita (w/Edge) def. Victoria © - WWE Women’s Championship; Post-match, Lita was elated as she celebrated her 3x WWE Women’s Championship win. She looked at Edge who seemed half-heartedly happy for her and wanted to rush her along with him to the back as the mic picked up him telling her they needed to go prepare for their big match tonight. All joy seemed to leave Lita’s face as she hesitantly left with Edge to the back.

Cryme Tyme (JTG & Shad) def. D-Generation X (Triple H & Shawn Michaels) © - World Tag Team Championship

Johnny Nitro (w/Melina) def. Jeff Hardy; Melina gave Nitro the assist for the win.

Umaga © (w/Armando Alejandra Estrada) def. Carlito - WWE Intercontinental Championship

John Cena def. Chris Masters via DQ; Masters got frustrated he couldn’t put Cena away and cracked him with a steel chairshot to the dome. With Cena knocked out, Masters would lock in The Masters Lock on Cena’s limp body as the referee called for him to stop. Multiple referees had to enter the ring to get Master’s to let go of Cena and leave the ring.

Shelton Benjamin def. Edge © (w/Lita) - WWE Championship [Benjamin will have one arm tied behind his back for this contest.] Lita had enough and finally decided to let Edge know how she really felt about things lately. And it came just as Benjamin needed it. Lita would low-blow Edge and untie Benjamin’s arm while the referee was attending to Edge. Lita would then distract the referee, allowing Benjamin to hit his finisher with both arms freed, before putting the arm back behind his back as he made the pin. Post-match, Benjamin was beside himself as he celebrated his win and newly won WWE Championship. Lita looked so satisfied heading up the ramp, looking at Edge, who looked dumbfounded by it all.

Matt Hardy def. Hardcore Holly; MVP was at commentary talking about himself, hardly paying any attention to the match. Post-match, MVP walked towards the back, looking annoyed as he ignored Matt, who called out to him. Matt shook his head, letting out a little laugh.

Jimmy Wang Yang © def. Super Crazy - Non-title match; Jamie Noble was at commentary with Kid Kash. Cole questioned if there was any animosity over Noble pinning Kash to become #1 Contender to the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Noble shut it down, saying his focus is winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Kash said he’s got his boys back.

Rey Mysterio def. Sylvan; Helms came onto the stage wearing a shirt that says “I’m better than Rey Mysterio.” Helms had a mic and went on about how much he’s accomplished while being given less opportunities than Mysterio. Shelton Benjamin © def. Rob Conway - Non-title match; Edge continued his rant from last week, going to Interim General Manager, Jonathan Coachman, this time instead of addressing the crowd. Edge continued to voice that Benjamin should be stripped of the WWE Championship because he violated the stipulation to win it and that Lita should be stripped of the WWE Women’s Championship and suspended and fined or better yet fired for causing him the most disappointing match of his career. Coach tried to settle Edge down and told him he wouldn’t do those things, but he would allow him to choose the stipulation for his rematch against Benjamin at The Royal Rumble. Edge said he wanted a Steel Cage match.

The Big Show (w/Paul Heyman) and Kurt Angle def. CM Punk and Sabu - Tag Team match; Earlier in the night, Punk and Sabu came to the ring, calling out The Big Show for his attack on them last week. Show and Heyman came onto the stage and Show would take Heyman’s mic before he could speak. Show said he’d take on both Punk and Sabu in a Handicap match right now. Heyman asked for the mic back while reasoning with Show on his position. Heyman told Punk and Sabu that they’ll be in a tag team match against Show and Angle. Later, Angle would meet with Heyman, telling him he doesn’t want to team up with anyone, let alone Show. There was some tension between Show and Angle until Heyman broke it up. Heyman told Angle that if he’d play ball and make sure Punk goes into his championship defense at The Royal Rumble--less than 100%--he;ll see to it that he’s the #1 Contender after Show wins the ECW World Heavyweight Championship back. Post-match, Show and Angle would take Sabu out before jumping Punk. Angle had The Ankle Lock on Punk as Heyman would shout him on and Show smirked. RVD would come down for the save, laying Angle out inside the ring, as Show and Heyman exited the ring and backed away towards the ramp. RVD would check on Punk and help him to his feet as Punk would limp towards the ropes. Sabu would recover and join Punk and RVD, as the trio would stare out at Show and Heyman. The Great Khali (w/Daivari) def. Joey Mercury; Post-match, The Gymini with Simon Dean would attack Daivari and The Great Khali, laying them out in the ring. They would continue to target both The Great Khali’s arms and legs, as it appeared they had an assignment. The Gymini and Dean would leave the ring after seeing their job was done. King Booker and Queen Sharmell would come onto the stage as the henchman passed by them to the back. King Booker and Queen Sharmell would share a glance with the henchman, as it was clear who was behind the attack. Ashley Massaro def. Kristal and Jillian Hall - 2-on-1 Handicap match; Kristal and Jillian had an issue last week with Ashley being considered the best of their division and went to Smackdown General Manager, Teddy Long, about it. Mickie came to Smackdown again and watched from atop the stage. Post-match, Mickie turned and walked towards the back before Ashley could get off the mat after the pin. Ashley smiled at Mickie’s sudden absence before celebrating on the turnbuckle.

The Undertaker def. Vito; Post-match, Batista sneaked in the ring behind Taker for an attack, but Taker snuffed it out. The two threw hands for a bit, before Batista gained the advantage and laid Taker out in the center of the ring with The Batista Bomb. Batista backed out of the ring and started walking up the ramp when he stopped and his facial expression said it all as he turned back to see Taker rise up off the mat and was staring him back at him with a cold stare. Batista looked back, almost motionless, as slight twitches in his face were shown.
