WWE NXT WWE NXT Discussion - April 20, 2021

    WWE NXT PREVIEW
    APRIL 20, 2021

KYLE O'REILLY RETURNS TO NXT TONIGHT
Kyle O’Reilly will return to NXT this Tuesday night since the first time since his barbaric Unsanctioned Match against Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

Though O’Reilly walked out on his own power after narrowly prevailing over Cole in the brutal battle, he collapsed backstage afterward as seen in exclusive footage shown last week on NXT. And even after the savagery the two ex-best friends put each other through, Cole could still be heard shouting threats at O’Reilly as they were wheeled into a local medical facility.

Is O’Reilly’s issue with Cole settled? And more importantly, will O’Reilly ever be the same man after their unforgettable war?

See O’Reilly’s return this Tuesday night on NXT at 8/7 C on USA Network.

KUSHIDA ISSUES OPEN NXT CRUISERWEIGHT CHALLENGE FOR TONIGHT
The new NXT Cruiserweight Champion is doing anything but resting on his laurels.

Kushida will put his newly won title on the line tonight on NXT in an open challenge, "repaying the favor" after answering Santos Escobar's challenge last week to capture the gold.

Who will step up to face NXT's resident Time Splitter? And will they fare as well as Kushida did last week?

Find out tonight at 8/7 C on USA!

SARRAY SET TO DEBUT AGAINST ZOEY STARK TONIGHT
The greatest Women’s division in wrestling is about to get even better, as Sarray will make her highly anticipated debut this Tuesday night on NXT.

"The Warrior of The Sun" will face Zoey Stark in her first bout on the black-and-gold brand.

Sarray has received endorsements from Japanese wrestling icons such as Meiko Satomura and will look to continue the lineage of Japanese excellence in NXT, following in the foosteps of Asuka, Shinsuka Nakamura, Io Shirai and Kairi Sane.

Stark, a relative newcomer to NXT in her own right, has made a strong impression in short order while going toe to toe with NXT Women's Champion Raquel González, Io Shirai, and Dakota Kai, and scored a major victory over Toni Storm on the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Pre-Show.

Don’t miss the long-awaited debut of Sarray against Stark this tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network!

DEXTER LUMIS LOOKS TO AVENGE GAUNTLET ELIMINATOR LOSS TO LA KNIGHT
Dexter Lumis is fixated on his next target, and his name is LA Knight.

Following an encounter within the Gauntlet Eliminator Match on Night 1 of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, which saw Knight secure a clever pinfall elimination over Lumis, these two will lock horns this Tuesday on NXT.

Last time Lumis was seen, he was carrying Indi Hartwell away from the ring to the backstage area last week on NXT, so there is no telling where his mind is at heading into this showdown with LA Knight.

Don’t miss NXT live this Tuesday at 8/7 C on USA Network!

Kushida/Oney was a fun sub 10 minute match, but nothing must see.

Sarray's debut was ok but probably gave too much to Zoey. Felt like a lucky win for her.
