Raw WWE Monday Night Raw Live Discussion - March 22, 2021

    Monday Night Raw Preview
    March 22, 2021

What will be the fallout from WWE Fastlane?

WWE Fastlane is the final stop on The Road to WrestleMania, and there is bound to be some major fallout for the Superstars of Raw this Monday.

After it was announced that Drew McIntyre will challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, Sheamus has a bigger chip on his shoulder than ever before to prove he belongs in that spotlight. The score between these two former best friends will be settled at WWE Fastlane, but there is no telling what will happen when Alexa Bliss and Randy Orton finally meet face-to-face in the ring this Sunday.

Who will emerge victorious in what promises to be a highly physical bout between McIntyre and Sheamus? What strange events will unfold when Bliss and Orton go one-on-one?

What does The Nightmare have in store for Monday nights?

This is her brutality, and it has a new home on Monday Night Raw.

Over the last several weeks, the WWE Universe and the Raw Women’s Division have been warned, and this Monday, “The Nightmare” Rhea Ripley will finally arrive on Raw.

Will Ripley be looking to put the red brand on notice right off the bat?

Find out this Monday on Raw live at 8/7 C on USA Network!

I think once Lacey was leaving due to pregnancy, and they started promoting that Rhea was coming, and knowing that they were going to take Asuka out of the picture anyway in favour of Lacey Charlotte, they should have had Asuka drop the gold to Charlotte and ran Charlotte Rhea again at mania. Would have had a built in story of Rhea wanting to redeem herself after last year. Just thinking out loud.

Interested to see where they go story wise now that the build to Mania should be in full effect and they have 2 nights to fill.

I'm much more invested in a Ripley vs Asuka match than another Charlotte vs. Asuka or Ripley. Even if it seems rushed with only three weeks left, a program between Ripley and Asuka could turn out to be fresh and entertaining. Say Rhea wins the title at Mania and Asuka turns heel afterwards or something

Considering all the feuds Miz has worked in the past 2-3 years including several World Title programs it’s absurd that it’s a feud with Bad Bunny where the McMahons go “oh shit, we need to actually make Miz look remotely credible for this”. He’s been booked better in the past 2 weeks than he has in about 2 years now.Crazy how they use Jeff Hardy though. The guy could still be a Star, instead he’s losing clean to a comedy jobber.

What is it that you want then? Miz to be treated well or for Hardy to be a star? Of all people, you would seem like the type to be thrilled that Miz defeated Hardy cleanly.

Its nice to see Miz get that win he gets once every 3 months or so. But I can still remark on how poorly Jeff Hardy is used. There's two guys there that should be booked alot better than they are instead of just flooding us with endless Fiend garbage and trying to make Drew McIntyre into a Star.

And its not like its going anywhere or leading anywhere for Miz, he's jobbing to Bad Bunny at WM afterall.

My bigger point was that its this match/feud of all the feuds Miz has worked that WWE seem to actually be trying to give Miz some modicum of credibility for. But its too late anyway. The big holdout for me as a Miz fan was getting to see him as World Champ again, he's had that, was treated like a joke Champ and will never come close to it ever again. The guys career is just going to keep going down from here.

Jeff Hardy has been wrestling for over two decades now. I think his time to be a star has long come and passed.

I mean, you could say the same about most of WWE's Main Eventers though.

He doesn't have to be World Champ or anything but considering at one point he was one of the most over people in Pro Wrestling in the last couple of decades feels like he can still be used in a more important role than he is. He's one of the few people on the roster with natural charisma.
