I don't really fancy voting Sting in this too much, but against Charlotte he's got my vote.

Hopefully either will be out next round.

Had this ever been a real match, I can totally see Sting being dumb enough to trust Ric Flair to be in his corner after a previous week's incident where it looked as if Charlotte and Ric aren't on good terms anymore.

At least Charlotte's Wrestlemania matches were good

I'm actually a high man on Sting, more often than not he always entertained me even if the workrate wasn't quite there. This won't be his kind of tournament, but my love for the Sting/Vader matches mean he gets by here.

I like Flair in 2020, but she's already got the title of "most overrated worker going" sown up for the next 5 years atleast

I feel the same. If this had been Sting vs. Asuka, he wouldn’t be getting my vote here.

Re: WCBNAINWOATT Round 1: Sting vs Charlotte Flair

I agree with Ed, I like Sting. Great great babyface performer throughout his early WCW run and even in less than ideal circumstances usually put in good performances even if the match wasn't great. I saw a time Sting wrestled Muta in Japan for the IWGP title and Muta was full on gimmick worker at this point in '93 but Sting brought the best out of him. Like many in WCW, things all went to shit after they booked him poorly in the late 90s but also don't sleep on his TNA run. Even as The Icon Sting he brought it more often than not and put in great effort in hardly ideal circumstances.

We know my feelings on Charlotte.
