In terms of looking at what he is now compared to what he was, it has to be Mr Michael McGillicutty.

The guy is such a heel. He works a certain brawler style formula that really comes off well with his mean bully shtick. He is intense in the ring now, and it jumps off the screen.

Last year he got a 'Worst' award, now I get excited every time he's booked for the next weeks show.

Mike Mondo seems a really good choice to me. He's went from being the third most memorable ex-Spirit Squad member to one of the most entertaining guys on the ROH roster and started putting on great matches out of nowhere.

Love how Nash is stealing my lines from our NXT LD last week

In the WWE, there's only one option and that's McGillicutty, he's good enough to be a heel midcarder now on Raw/SD, one of the success stories of main roster members working on NXT.

It should be Okada though, he went from being Joe's lackey in TNA to a must see star in Japan in a year.

Let's not have a shite result like last year and vote Ziggler again because that was a joke.

He added an extra rotation to his bumps. What have those two done?

Wade Barrett has improved from a mediocre guy into something good and seems to be getting better every week.

I'm not sure about Barrett. So far his only standout matches have been against Sheamus and he always has good matches with Sheamus (the matches late last year were all very good). I think the jury's still out on Barrett.

McGillicutty also. His matches with Tyson on NXT have been must see. And I dont belive outside of these he has had a bad match all year. He has gone from surely on the brink of release to prooving he is a talent that needs to be taken seriously.

Re: 2012 Ongoing Most Improved Wrestler Of The Year Discussion

Barrett in Jan-Feb was a step up from anything he showed in 2011. As Shock says, he's only been good in matches with Sheamus, but then again the Sheamus matches are the only real 'non-squashes' he's been involved in.

    Too early to vote Barrett.
