MARK HENRY VS DANIEL BRYAN
WORLD TITLE ON THE LINE IN A STEEL CAGE MATCH
Last week on Smackdown, Daniel Bryan experienced a night of mixed emotions when his dream almost became a reality. After The Big Show's right hand left Mark Henry knocked out cold during the fallout from Survivor Series, Daniel Bryan rushed to the ring, referee in tow, to cash in on his MITB guaranteed World Heavyweight Championship match. With Henry out for the count, Bryan would win the match and seemingly become World Champion, much to the delight of the fans in attendance, and much to the disgust of Michael Cole. However there would be a cruel twist in the tail for Bryan, as Teddy Long interrupted the celebrations to regrettably inform him that as Henry wasn't cleared to wrestle, the match must be declared void and the title returned to The World's Strongest Man. Teddy vowed to make it up to a disheartened Bryan for this unusual situation, stating his MITB contract was good for another cash in whenever he wants, but also offered him the chance to get a bonus World title match against Henry if he could win a fatal four way match in the main event. In a back and forth match between Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett, Bryan would come out on top, making The Intercontinental Champion Cody tap out to his Lebell Lock, setting up another encounter between The World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan. Tonight on a live holiday special edition of Smackdown, hosted by Mick Foley, Daniel Bryan will have that bonus world title match when he takes on Mark Henry, inside a steel cage.

Well we all know Daniel Bryan's not winning this because the winner has to face Big Show at TLC, and logically that suggests another Henry/Show match at the ppv. Still, that doesn't mean it won't be worth watching, sounds like a great main event to me, and I'm very interested to see how Bryan does inside a cage match, I expect he'll work over the foot quite a bit.
The best wrestling show today doesn't get much chance to host a live discussion thread on WC, so I hope to people will take the opportunity tonight to take part.

), that's not bad going in his short WWE career. Everyone's talking about Ziggler, Rhodes, Barrett and Ryder at the moment as superstars who the WWE is doing a good job of pushing, and I agree, but for my money Daniel Bryan will become World Champion before they do (they might count that 1 hour Ziggler reign, but I don't).
