Meh. Remember, Vince won it, HHH won it after being a multiple time champ, Austin won it three fucking times, Rock won it after being top champion, Brock won it after being champion, Bret won it after being champion too.

I think Tom and a lot of others such as myself would rather see someone who's considered a future star win it, rather then an already established star.
That's why I would love for Orton to win. He is already established, but he's never won the Rumble, and it would get him over even more then he is.

Orton would be a good choice from here, because it really looks like there is zero chance of somebody who isn't a former World Champion winning it. Orton represents the present and future of WWE, and as you say, he has never won the Rumble. Seeing as no WWE heel looks particularly credible compared to the faces, it would do a lot more for Orton than it would for Triple H, and would also be a surprise as heels never win it.
It would also be cool to see Legacy helping him win it.

JBL will beat Cena. Michaels will win the Royal Rumble match when it comes down to him and Triple H. This leads to JBL demanding that Michaels challenges Edge for the smackdown main event. Michaels doesn't and you got JBL vs. Michaels for the title at Mania.

I don't why you are so certain they won't do this. Obiously, most fans don't like JBL and don't think he is good enough to be in that position, but Vince loves him.
