So what is your feelings with taker being undefeated at mania? Do you feel he should remain this way? Do you ever see him losing at wrestlemania? Do you think he should? If he ever does lose, who should beat him?
I don't think he ever will. If he ever was, I think it would of been against Randy Orton cause he is the Legend Killer. But now, I don't think he ever will.

I dont think 'E would ever let him lose and if they did I think it would be to help a younger talent get over imo. Maybe if he does get beat it would be a similair one to Ric Flairs retirement, "If you lose you're fired" stipulation.

And when there is no hope,
"I'll smoke some crack, I'll shoot some dope!"
When theres no enemies,
"I sit and stare at my T.V.
and in my ignorance,
I'll be a slave and sycophant!"
I don't WANT to see taker get beat at WM, in fact I found that a wm taker match is the only one i ever mark out on anymore. However, for business, it may be the right decision for him to lose against some up and comer such as dibiase or rhodes. Orton is already established and doesnt really need the rub from beating taker at wm
I agree with wayne if he was to lose it, it should have been against orton
now I think Udertaker should retire with the streak in tack as it's pretty much his legacy

Re: Undertaker: Undefeated at Wrestlemania
Knowing WWE, his first loss will be against somebody who doesn't need the rub at all. It'll be like the way they built up Umaga's undefeated streak, and then he lost to Cena. If that loss had have gone to someone who needed the rub, it wouldn't have been useless.

They would have to have a very very good reason to end that streak at this point. If they did it without the payoff being massive, the fans as a whole would be pissed.
The streak really is going to be his legacy. As it stands, he has held the WWE main event belts (WWE and World Heavyweight) a total of 6 times. That's comparable to some other top stars of the same era. But none of 'Taker's reigns have been very long. By my count, those 6 reigns totalled up to 305 days. Batista had one run with the World Heavyweight that was 280 days, and has had 507 days total between the two belts. John Cena has had almost triple the time with the belts as Undertaker. So while calling The Undertaker a 6-time champion sounds impressive, his reigns have not been very lengthy.
What will truly differentiate The Undertaker's career from that of his contempories is that Wrestle Mania win streak.

Yes I think it will last just about forever. He'll partially retire but then when he eventually turns it in I think he'll look for someone to give that too after he's inducted

As I've said before, I can't see anyone really capitalizing on the rub they'd get for beating Taker. WWE Creative department have dropped the ball with so many potentially fantastic storylines, that they shouldn't even bother attempting this one.
Besides, Taker is a legend in the WWE. His title reigns haven't been as long or as celebrated as others', so I feel this title "Undefeated at Wrestlemania" is something he truly deserves. It's a great honour to give someone, and it's probably one of the highest rewards to a loyal servant of the company.
I think I remember reading somewhere where in recent years Taker wanted to lose (to Kane, I think) and Vince said no. I was thinking about this recently and I could see Undertaker losing to HBK. I think HBK is somebody that Taker, Vince, and the fans would accept. But I don;t think Shawn would want to be that guy, so who knows.
I hope HBK/Taker happens at Mania, and not HBK/JBL and taker/Umaga or something stupid. Neither of those are worthy of Wrestlemania. Or, quite frankly, worthy of Undertaker and HBK themseleves.

I really think ending the streak would be a terrible idea. If they were going to end his streak, it should have been Orton, all those years ago when the rub from that would've propelled him into orbit and led to a fantastic run as a heel champion... But now, no one is worthy of taking it and deserving of (or even needs and could use) the rub from it. Keep it intact and give him that credit on his Hall Of Fame induction. He deserves it.
