So, who do you think will be a surprise entrant in the Rumble this year? Obviously they are going to have someone as it wouldn't be a Rumble without it.
Hopefully they don't cheapen it up by having the Iron Sheik or Doink in it like years past. As they mentioned on Raw last night that this may be the most "star studded Rumble match in history" and I hope they stick to that.
On that note, anyone think they'll have Haas go in like 3 or 4 times under different gimmicks Mick Foley-style?

Why are you both thinking RVD? Did I miss some rumours?
I'm thinking there'll be a couple of legends as usual who are of no use in Rumble matches in my eyes. Maybe a debut from someone (Low-Ki if those rumours are true?).

It really irritates me when they announce people for the Royal Rumble before the match up. I know one year they announced all 30 people, so it was obvious there'd be no surprises, and only announcing around 25 would mean that you're expecting there to be a surprise. If they didn't announce anyone, I think the whole thing would be far more exciting.

Some memorable surprise entrants to me were Mr. Perfect, which I cheered for bigtime, and Drew Carey, which just made me laugh.
As for this year, I would agree that RVD would make sense. Christian would be a HUGE surprise, but my bet is that if he returns at RR, it'll be in the WWE Championship match.
heres my theory on the rumble. its the very last match right? the match before it shawn helps jbl beat cena for the belt and either shawn is a suprise entry in the rumble or someone gets injured and he replaces them and then wins the rumble. then from RR to mania its a build up of who shawn is gonna pick and of course eventually he picks jbl and they end their fued at mania.
