The Ultimate Opportunist stunned the WWE Universe by returning at Survivor Series and taking Hardy’s vacant spot to capture the WWE Championship, pinning The Game amidst a whirlwind of chaos. Now that he has secured his favorite spot on top of SmackDown, Edge will do whatever it takes to stay there.

The Charismatic Enigma rebounded from his misfortune, scoring a huge victory over The Brian Kendrick in a Beat the Clock Challenge Match on SmackDown. However, Triple H refused to be denied. The King of Kings answered back later that night by conquering United States Champion Shelton Benjamin in exactly the same amount of time, opening the door for the three-way battle.

The irrepressible, extreme nature of Jeff Hardy and the insurmountable hunger of The Game are sure to come pounding on the door of the Ultimate Opportunist. The showdown between these three volatile Superstars is likely to come to an explosive end.

It's pretty obvious Edge will win this. There is no way they will have him drop it so soon, especially as his first title coming back from his injury/time off, whatever he did.

Yeah Edge will win.

I am not a fan of the current overuse of triple threats, but I think this could be an entertaining match if Triple H doesn't just dominate throughout making it slow and boring.

Hopefully they use this to build towards Hardy vs Edge at Wrestlemania 25. That is the one way they could make sense of the way HHH lost the title, but even then it would look like neither man can beat HHH. Damn Game.

I can see Edge retaining because there is no way Edge is going to lose after only winning the belt a month or so ago.

Jeff will hit Hunter with the Swanton Bomb and somehow Edge will make the cover and get the win, thus adding to the effect of Jeff once again missing out.

Im with the majority on Edge winning this match. If Hardy is to win the title, i think it will be at one of the Big PPV's. Royal Rumble or even Wrestlemania assuming he hasent hit a third strike and ended up unemployed.

General consensus is Edge will be taking this one and it's not only an obvious one, but I actually think it's the best for the situation.

Trips shouldn't win because he's had the belt for hella long, his reign got way stale and there's really no point in him getting the belt back. Not like he even needs it to be on top.

If Jeff's gonna win it after all this one rung short, close but no cigar storyline then he should win it at one of the big 4 (WM, RR, SummerSlam or Survivor Series).

Only a moron will think Jeff will win, WWE will have him win at something big like the royal rumble, or hopefully WM, Edge has to win, they are not gun have him lose so soon after Survivor series.
