Just curious if anyone else is planning on trying to go to Wrestle Mania in April in Houston? Tickets went on sale on November 11th, I believe. Sounds like they've been selling pretty well.
Got presale tickets the week before. Never been to Wrestle Mania. Or even a major WWE pay per view for that matter. Should be interesting.
Congratulations, you bastard, you. I wish I were going to WM this year but, oddly enough, that's almost the precise date my daughter is due. The only wrestling event I've ever been to was back in 1990ish. It was a Superstars of Wrestling taping with lots of dark matches. Ultimate Warrior was feuding with Earthquake and I was literally a foot from touching Warrior. The main event was Hulk Hogan and Beefcake vs Macho and Zeus in a steel cage. Awesome.

I've only been to 2 Wrestlemania's: X-8 (Toronto when Rock fought Hogan) and 23 (Detroit with Cena fighting HBK). Since I'm going to Royal Rumble, I won't be going to Wrestlemania, although I was really contemplating it since it's in Texas (somewhere I'd like to see) and possibly the final match of SCSA.

Where are your seats?
Section 334. Middle level. Not great but didn't want to spend too much just on the tickets.
I've been to house shows before, but never a PPV event or even a TV taping. Haven't even been to a house show in a few years. I remember going to one way back in the day, when Ted DiBiase was feuding with Dusty Rhodes. Also had a chance to go a house show in '92 but decided not to... and that was the house show where Bret Hart beat Ric Flair for the title.
Middle level's still not half bad, but hey, you're going to the biggest PPV of the year for WWE and you should savor every minute of it, except pointless diva and squash matches.

And when there is no hope,
"I'll smoke some crack, I'll shoot some dope!"
When theres no enemies,
"I sit and stare at my T.V.
and in my ignorance,
I'll be a slave and sycophant!"
Im not goin but I would if it was close to me.Ive been to a couple of Nitro tapings a few AWA cards SS 99 (where Foley won the belt) and ECW Anarchy Rules 2000.Also been to a NWA house show and some WWF house shows and a couple of random Indy shows.
Speaking of live events, I did get to see a few Stampede Wrestling house shows way back in the day. Mid 1980s. Grew up on the Canadian prairies and they came through every so often. Got to see both Brett Hart and Owen Hart, though I don't think they were both there together at any of the shows. British Bulldog and Dynamite Kid were both already gone, but guys like Brian Pillman, Bad News Allen, and Chris Benoit were there during that era. Good times.
