Not the match most expected for Survivor Series I'm sure, but should be a very good one all the same. Cena's return to action could cause a bit of ring rust though obviously, but that's to be expected.
Looking forward to his pop alone, and really this is just a great main event for SS in my opinion.
Can anyone seeing Cena lose yet another title opportunity? I'm thinking yes with the influx of title changes recently.
Also have these two actually faced off since that "You're Fired" match that saw Jericho leave the WWE? Would be nice if they mentioned that, providing it is the first time since then that is.

it will probably be the oposite, wrestlers rarely get the win in their home towns unless its a wrestlemania. If they give cena the belt then they better keep care of him and build himself and batista up strong if they are planning the rematch at wrestlemania.

I just don't like how this match has 0 build thus far, not saying there wont be any, but I don't think there will be. I like the match and all, and I get that they are trying to prolong the Tista/Cena feud until Mania, but meh. I think Jericho will win, I don't think they would give Cena the belt right away anyway...but then again, I didn't think the title would switch hands at Raw. So who knows.

Yeah Peace, I am almost positive they haven't faced off since Jericho was 'fired' in 2005.
I like the idea of Cena vs. Jericho as a main event and it is something we haven't seen in a while. But what would be even nicer is to see something out of the ordinary happen for a finish for a change.
Why do you suppose we are seeing Cena vs. Jericho though? Do you think it is simply because he is ready, and it's in Boston? Shouldn't Cena be fueding with Batista?
Personally I think that this would be a GOLDEN GOLDEN GOLDEN opportunity to have Cena turn heel. They will never friggin do it though. Have Batista come down, maybe casually, maybe run down to the aid of Cena. Batista somehow costs Cena the match by mistake and BOOM.....Cena just goes apeshit on him. The crowd would eat that shit up. Whenever I have gone to a show in Boston I have always noticed the heels get resounding cheers over the faces (with exceptions of Flair and Taker etc). People in Boston seem to really love giving the faces a hard time. This would be a golden opportunity to have Cena turn on his hometown crowd and go full heel. This of course would probably create major cheers for him instead. haha.
Jericho just seems like he is keeping the title warm at this point, otherwise they would have just kept it on Batista for the obvious Cena/Batista fued.

Thinking long term booking wise, wouldnt it be benifical for Cena not to win here. They are definatly going for Batista vs Cena II and having Cena as champion would ruin some of the electricity. </rock>
Having Batista as champion going into the rematch with Cena literally doing everything to get revenge on him for breaking his neck to win the title would make it a more exciting match imo.

I like the idea, thing is I hope Cena doesn't win it. The plus is that Jericho is having great matches at the moment and since Cena maybe rusty, Jericho can take him through a main event level match with his heat. But, I am nervous about Jericho losing. I don't want to see Cena back yet in the title picture, so maybe this is a way for him to start a rivalry with someone else, screwing him over or something. Overall, a promising match-up.

I wouldnt be suprised to see Cena win this one. If he does, a Jericho rematch for the next PPV with Batista looking over his shoulder waiting for his shot would be my guess. On Raw afterwards have Jericho beat Batista for another shot at the Rumble. Batista wins the Rumble while Cena retains. Wrestlemania main event made.
