I would be excited about an Austin match if it was one on one. Jericho vs Austin would be a huge match. Austin in a tag would be pretty fail.
"A few weeks prior to signing with WCW, I witnessed Hogan wrestle Flair on Nitro. Now strictly from a fan perspective, it was very hard to watch. What I witnessed that night was two legends that were shells of their former selves still trying to do it. Watching Hogan & Flair that night just wasn't right. In my opinion the bookers were just exploiting them to try to pop a number. It was a desperate situation and that's exactly the way it came across on TV."

Are you saying you would watch Punk fuck a bald chick in a porno?

I'm saying I'd watch Punk alone in a porno.
If Austin is going to wrestle, I'd only of wanted it to be against Cena. I'd be much happier having Austin's last match remain against the Rock and not Jericho.
- Flair is old and retired. Get real people.
- Both sides have said the Rourke match isn't happening
- Jericho is looking to fued with a Hall Of Famer
- Austin is being inducted into the Hall Of Fame this year
- Austin is being rumoured to have a match at Wrestlemania
Connect the fucking dots. Meltzer agrees.
And obviously Meltzer is right 100% of the time... Not that I don't see the logic, and wouldn't prefer it to anything else WWE could put him in right now.I just can't see Austin coming back. His legs are fucked.
Also, I agree it won't be Flair either, I just don't think we can a Flari return at some point out.

I can see the reasoning behing your argument, and don't entirely disagree, but I think if Austin were to have one last match that Jericho would be the logical person to have it against at the present time. With Orton and Cena seemingly a lock for the main event, and Michaels either facing JBL or Taker, I can't see anyone better, and if Austin's body is able now this may be the last chance WWE gets to do it. Jericho beat Austin to become the WWE's first undisputed Champion, and has used it as bragging rights ever since. The story writes itself and no matter who goes over the top it's win-win. If Jericho wins he gets to say he retired the great Stone Cold and builds and even bigger heel persona, leading to another title reign. If Austin wins, then he avenged the loss, and Jericho can whinge on about it for weeks building on his heel persona and eventually leading to another title reign. A monkey with a type writer could do this angle right, surely WWE couldn't screw it up?
i like to see cena and batista at wr 25 for the world heavy weight championship
They pretty much ruined that match when they had them face off at Summerslam. Even if Batista was able to wrestle and was the No. 1 contender, it just wouldn't feel as big as Orton/Cena.

If Tista was still around i reckon they would of tried to go for Orton/Cena/Tista @ Mania Instead of Just Cena/Tista.

That's basically last years match except its Batista instead of HHH. I bet the outcome would be the same with Orton winning (which sucks for Cena IMO).
There is no way they would have done a triple threat so similar to last year's. I have a suspicion that they would have done Cena/Tista, and the only reason Orton is being pushed so hard is the injury to Batista.
