why have the WWE booked them selfs into oblivion for their biggest ever WM!?
Orton cena.. give me a break It should be Orton vs Jericho. I would prefer JBL vs Orton than fucking cena. If cena wins il be so pissed.
And HHH vs edge... jesus christ. they had an average match on one of their average PPVs. Now it's going to main event.
They just better have a good midcard feud and HBK taker to make things better.
Please explain why you would book two heels against each other instead of including your biggest draw, and a guy who consistently produces great matches on the big stage, in a match?
I agree about Triple H vs Edge. That would be a pretty boring title match.
But there is potential in the rest of the card, and none of those matches are actually decided yet.
Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels
Could be a classic if they do this, with both guys wanting one (perhaps) final Wrestlemania moment. Chris Jericho vs Mickey Rourke
I don't like it but it will draw and Jericho might win. At least a celebrity at Mania gives it a bigger feel and it all works due to The Wrestler. Matt Hardy vs Jeff Hardy
This would be a pretty big match for Wrestlemania. I love the idea of these two developing a personal feud after Matt's betrayal and attempting to settle it on the grandest stage of them all.
Three big matches there, then you have MITB, a hopefully decent Women's Match etc. It would need a few more big matches, and I think it would be terrible if the planned main events were the ones stated, but it could still contain some interesting stuff.
You have a lot of guys left over with the likes of Umaga, Kozlov, Punk, Morrison, Kennedy, MVP, Kendrick, Regal, Kofi, Rey, JBL etc. I imagine some of these won't get on the card and a lot will be shoved into MITB, but I really hope Punk gets a one on one match. I just don't see who it could be against, especially with Jericho facing Rourke.

I doubt Taker faces HBK at WM.I see Michaels staying in a this feud with JBL till WM with WM being the blowoff. And I'm pretty sure its going to be Taker/Show at WM. I just don't see another match for any of those two.
As for the rest of the card, I'm wonder who's going to win the MITB this year. My bet is if Kennedy doesn't win again, it'll be MVP(during the process of that anticipated face push).
Matt/Jeff:I'm really interested in where they want to take this. As long as my Matt Hardy ends up in the main event afterwards, I don't really care who wins this match.
Cena/Orton: Besides Cena, every other Royal Rumble winner won the title for like the past 10 years. I don't see that changing this time around, especially since he's getting this huge push.
Edge/HHH: same old stuff. It's been milked to death already
I just can't see Orton being put over Cena at Wrestlemania. I guess that is the only reason they would have the match in the first place, but it would seem weird for Cena to lose one on one at Wrestlemania because we have never seen it, and normally heels never win in Mania title matches (one on one). It definitely wouldn't be the main event.

Im just sick of cena in the spot light at WM. Like in Wm 23 when he beat hbk which just pissed me off as i thaught HBK would have another title run

haha i hope it's not Taker vs Show for the 100 time in a year please!!
That would be horrible. Out of their 3 recent matches they pulled off one ok one - the casket match.
comes down to opinion. I did enjoy their cage match though.
But this proves they only have entertaining matches with stipulations. And what else could they do, a ladder match? a falls count any where match? When big show finds it hard to walk long distances !
NO ONE wants a straight up "wrestling match" with these 2 lets be fair
I'm gonna make up a possible card right here witch might be pretty good. I'm not saying this is what will happen and it probally won't, but it would make for a good card in my opinion.
No DQ Triple Threat For WWE Championship: Edge vs. Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy- This would be a good match. Edge and Matt could provide some good standard wrestling action plus Jeff is cabable of throwing some good stuff in there. Plus with the No DQ stipulation there could be some nice spots with the three. And with the fued between Jeff and Edge, Betrayal of Jeff by Matt, and Matt and Edge's history, this match would make sense.. Matt grabs the win and Mania ends with Matt celebrating.
WWE Championship: Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels w/ JBL as referee- Have Michaels get in the EC at No Way Out. Have JBL in it also. Then have Cena, JBL, and HBK as the final three. Have HBK turn on JBL and win the title. HBK takes on Orton at Mania in a match that could be pretty good considering both men are great athletes. JBL, wanting revenge, becomes guest ref (maybe buying his way into the spot?) and screws HBK and Orton wins. HBK and JBL continue their feud at backlash and there is a #1 contenders match on RAW to see who gets Orton at Backlash.
Chris Jericho vs. Mickey Rourke- Looks like this is gonna happen. It would give a nice atmosphere having a celeb at Mania. It would make sense because of the The Wrestler film that Rourke starred in. Plus if Rourke was trained a little bit it could be a decent match. Jericho should win.
Buried Alive Match: Undertaker vs. Triple H- Well I have heard Taker is going to retire this year. If Undertaker is gonna retire this year, lets end it at Mania in one of his signature matches. Have a deal where HHH turns heel and does it by attacking Taker. These two could have a great match. Let HHH win it if Taker is gonna retire. Even if he doesn't retire and wins, it's still a good match and I'm sure WWE would conjure up something where they dug HHH out of the grave and he lived.
Champion vs. Champion: C.M. Punk vs. Shelton Benjamin- This would be a great match, possibly a show-stealer with these two. In my opinion they are both great athletes and together they could be a possible match of the night. Neither title would be defended, but then again they weren't last year either. It just makes sense. And would be better than many other matches. Give C.M. Punk the win as he is the bigger draw.
Money in the Bank Ladder Match: John Morrison vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Evan Bourne vs. MVP vs. The Brian Kendrick vs. Mike Mizanin vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio- I just thought up some people who would need to be in the match and filled in the rest. This would be a pretty good match in my opinion. Kennedy wins.
Women's Title: Beth Phoenix vs. Melina- Has to be a women's match somewhere on the card. This could be a good match since they were decent at the Rumble. Melina should win.
ECW Title: Finlay vs. Jack Swagger- These two could have a good match. Plus Finlay is the next logical choice to face Swagger. Let Swagger win as I don't think Finlay as champ is a good choice.
15-Man Battle Royale with winner getting a shot at the Intercontinental or U.S. title at Backlash: Manu, Sim Snuka, Dolph Ziggler, William Regal, Mike Knox, Umaga, Big Show, The Great Khali, R-Truth, Vladimir Kozlov, Chavo Guerrero, Paul Burchill, Tommy Dreamer, Ricky Ortiz, and Hurricane Helms-Filler Match that could lead to an interesting storyline and match at Backlash. I just tossed in some names that were left out of Mania and I'd say Regal should win and face Punk at Backlash.
Cryme Tyme and Goldust vs. Ted Bibiase, Cody Rhodes, and Santino Marella- A filler match. Plus a good way to start off Mania. Makes sense with The Legacy and Cryme Tyme being the two teams on RAW plus the Goldust/Cody Rhodes confrontations recently. Give Cryme Tyme/Goldust the win.
