The guy is slow and out of shape. When he was WWE Champion he had a slow style, but now he's even slower. It's like watching a match in slow motion. He is all brawler and noting else, and although I have nothing against brawlers per say, JBL's style (as I've mentioned) is very slow, thus making the brawling lack in excitement. I've not seen one match featuring JBL that I would ever recommend anyone to watch.
On the other hand, his promo's and commentary is A1 material and he is one the money all the time. he's one of the best talkers on Raw (nevermind the rest of wrestling in general) and on a show that has Cena, Jericho, Santino and Orton, that's saying something.
I guess you mean singles match? I Quit with Cena, Judgment Day match with Eddie and the Elimination Match at Backlash 2008 spring to mind immediately if you don't.
I agree that his singles matches have never been particularly entertaining. He is someone who needs a stip USUALLY, but I could see HBK pulling it out.

JBL isn't slow, he just isn't agile or super quick like a million other wrestlers around these days. I can't think of any matches from him that have been slow, they always seem to move at a good, intense pace.

I don't see What Everyone has against JBL he can still pull of a decent match & HBK can make anyone look good. Putting them two together would be a great Idea for WWE to do. Plus JBL/HBK would make a hell of a lot of sense than Taker/HBK at this moment in time.
I Reckon Most people are just hating on the possibility of HBK/JBL right now because they had it in there heads for nearly a year that it would be HBK/Taker

That could be part of it, and to be fair, HBK/Taker would be the only thing that could save this Wrestlemania from mediocrity, so I can understand why people feel short changed with HBK/JBL. It's a good angle and could be a good match, but its hardly epic stuff is it.

I don't care if HBK/JBL is even GOOD. That is still not Main event of Wrestlemania worthy. I mean look at Mania 21, it was a good PPV but the main events hurt the show drastically.

That is pretty horrible imo, mainly because of the two bolded matches. I mean, would it really be a memorable Wrestlemania? With their roster they could do so much better, and I don't really consider Umaga or Kozlov to be good possibilities because it would be the same old shit of Undertaker predictably going over a monster. Lets put him up against Cena or Triple H and actually have the fans believing he could lose.

Agree with you on the Taker thing i would much prefer to see him go against someone like HHH rather than Someone like Umaga or Kozlov
Both those main events have a possibility of being pretty good though IMO. I would prefer to see Cena/Orton rather than Cena/Batista in the main event. Plus HHH, Edge, Hardy & Taker are the only real possibilities for the SD main event scene & if you go by rumors there are two possibilties of what Edge & Hardy may be doing:
Hardy V Christian With Edge V HHH
Or
Hardyz V Edge & Christian which may leave Taker/HHH for the title at Mania & i would prefer to see Some fresh blood in the main event scene. Really expected Hardy V Edge to be the Mania Main Event this year.

I think Triple H vs Edge would be the most boring main event they could POSSIBLY book on the Smackdown side of things. Cena vs Orton is boring because they have faced each other so many times for the title.
