Also not a good sign when one of them says during a dull crowd "I think they are just in awe of what they are seeing" haha
n00b announcers. I liked them overall though. (Grisham and Striker) They really sound just like Michael Cole and Jerry the King but younger. I think these two could be the A team in no time if given some proper seasoning. They were very impressive for a new green team. (this is the first time I have heard them together, but I never watch ECW so they may have been around for a while, n00b ECW watcher here.)
Overall the match was kinda meh until about 5 minutes left. I really have my reservations about Matt Hardy winning his first "major title" with the ECW title being that title. I really think that thing is nothing more than a glorified European belt. It means nothing to me as a wrestling fan. ECW is so the opposite of what ECW ever was and has no sign of ECW itself it may as well be called the BRR belt and make up some other defunct organization. It just means nothing to me as a belt. If Jeff Hardy won the WWE title in the same night (haven't seem that match at the time I wrote this) then people would CLEARLY view Jeffs win as much bigger. It almost doesn't even need to be pointed out its so obvious. With that said......It's not a major championship.
But at the end of the day I would have rather seen Hardy get the W more than anyone else in the match.

Sadly I completely missed this match. And from what I heard and saw of the other two ECW was the way to go.
I remember being (not sure which site) in a debate about should the ECW title be considered a World Title and my answer was no. I see it being higher than the tag titles, but still only a low mid card belt. I will say ECW has been very entertaining for me the last few months though.

On a whole the match was quite good. I already said about Miz being in his hometown & being the only one not to win, but when you said about ECW being a major title i remebered the commentators saying it was the biggest match of Finlay's life. Am i alone in thinking the United States or WCW TV title ment more?

The best scramble match of the night, really enjoyable all the way through, IO would have prefered a Mark Henry win with Matt chasing the gold for another PPV and I didnt like the finish too much, felt like an anti climax, but overall a very good match.
As for the announce team Grisham and Striker haver it off really well and look a very promising announce team, Striker is catching up to Tazz as my favourite colour commentator
So if Matt Hardy beat Jericho or HHH at the next PPV and had both titles you would view them as equals?

Just because its been the best show lately....that means the title is the best too?

If you look at the title holders of each respective belt you will notice they are all mid carders on Raw or Smackdown. Thats just a fact. So to say that its above the US or IC title is just plain wrong in my opinion.

I didn't say that the ECW Title is best right now. I never said that. I just said that the ECW Title is equal to the WHC & WWE Titles. But, your saying it's not.
EDIT: I sense that me and Danny are going to argue about this until I'm right. So stay tuned!
