So.. it'll be Melina vs. Beth Phoenix. I guess Melina continues her face turn? I'm not sure what this is..

But.. it could be a great match. I think WWE is taking some notes on how much the Knockouts are over on TNA, and taking their women's division a little more seriously..

Not sure what Mickie James is doing, but I'm starting a new thread on that in a minute..

It's that match where they beat the fuck out of one another.. basically hardcore rules and then make their opponent say the words "I Quit" into the microphone.

I'm hoping they let them go all out.

Could be a pretty good match, provided they actually take it seriously and make this a pretty brutal match, otherwise, it's going to look stupid when someone quits.

Either way, it definitely looks like WWE is taking notice of TNA's Knockout division.

This is kind of how it looks isn't it.

Maybe this is like when Vince decided to have cruiser matches on his PPV's (anybody remember the incrdible Michinoku-Sasuke match at Canadian Stampede....and for those that don't hunt down that fantastic PPV) and then, despite it being awesome, still thought, "meh, I don't like it" and then went back to what he likes.

He had a hardcore match of some kind on a PPV (was it Survivor Series) between Victoria and Trish which was very fine. Didn't take him long then to decide it was back to talentless bra and panties matches between non-workers.

If it's good, I'll enjoy it for what it is, but even if it is good, I wouldn't expect it to be any kind of turning over of a new leaf from the McMahons.

Oh and some good work lately on the ol' thread making young Brandon.

Well if they are turning Melina face then she has no chance in hell. Can't feel bad for a girl that just took out the Glamazon. She will get the face love from the fans when she refuses to say "I Quit" and passes out or some shit.

I also really am enjoying ACTUAL matches from the girls. No reason why not, right? Shit, maybe we would get to see Lita and Trish come back some day as well. (not bloody likely)

I think this is the best possible women's match they could have put on the card. We don't need to see another Mickie-Beth match, or a 3-way dance, or a tag team match with Mickie/Melina vs. Beth/Jillian or some crap. I like the fact that there is a women's match on the card that doesn't involve the Women's Champion (hell, there have been so many PPV's in the past month that we don't need Mickie defending at each one!)

Turning Melina face can't hurt, and she's gotten a bit stale as a heel. But for cripes sake, bring Victoria back to RAW to team up with Beth Phoenix. Having Jillian as the #2 heel is just crap. She needs to go away for a long, long time.

At least this bout includes two women who will actually put on a decent match.

To me, Melina will struggle (outside of beating up Beth) to carry off being a face.

She just, facially, doesn't look like a nice "face" person.
