Okay, well if that was her ONLY role then I'm fine with it.

But if she was supposed to serve some other type of purpose, I was lost on what it was. Does she have a current product or tv show or something she was supposed to be promoting? Cause I didn't hear anyone say anything about it..maybe I missed it.

Just seemed like an odd choice to have her there.

Re: Wrestlemania 24 Thoughts and Opinions

She has a show and some other shit.. fashion lines, blah blah.. but she wasn't there to promote any of it so I don't know what the deal was. She was on tv I believe twice for a total of 2 minutes. Weird.

Re: Wrestlemania 24 Thoughts and Opinions

Just finished the MITB match. All I can say is WOW. That is offically one of the best matches I have ever seen. Spotfest 2008. It was amazing. I saw a bunch of stuff done with ladders that while seemingly impossible were pulled off somehow.

Shelton Benjamin, Jericho and Morrison deserve some credit for moves that very well could have crippled them.

Ok, I just finished the Kane match, but I sneezed and missed it.

I finally played live and it was fantastic.

Re: Wrestlemania 24 Thoughts and Opinions

Kane should have had a serious title run 5 years ago. I think it is too little, too late. Not too mention the fact that ECW is the WWE's redheaded stepchild. I mean to bury the worth of the title even further, by having the champion lose in one move?

Sad...

WWE should just get rid of of it's development territories and just use ECW for it. Save some money.

And, I believe that if you didn't tear up at the Flair/HBK match, then you aren't human. (Or at least a true fan of Pro Wrestling.) Awesome moment.

Re: Wrestlemania 24 Thoughts and Opinions

I thought this Wrestlemania was actually very good it beats the past few Wrestlemanias which were in my opinion mediocre. The Money in the bank was as expected very good with a few crazy spots in it. I wasn't to keen on the end result though (I am not a big CM Punk fan) I was really hoping for either Jericho or MVP to get the win. But the match quality was very good so I saw past that. The World title was predictable, the WWE title I really wasn't expecting Orton to retain, but I am not to bothered with the end result as long as Triple H didn't walk out champion then I am a happy chappy.

What really made the night special was definitely Shawn Michaelas vs Ric Flair, I was just thinking that due to the pure emotion but the quality of the match surpassed anything I had hoped for. Both men really did work hard in that match. Shawn Michaels always performs well at Wrestlemania, And unlike the last few Wrestlemania this had a great Wrestlemania moment and probably the best ending to a match I have ever seen. When Shawn said he was sorry then hit the sweet chin music on an already emotional Flair, then got the pin and hugged him on the ground.

Re: Wrestlemania 24 Thoughts and Opinions

My only complaint about 'Mania isn't even about the event itself, but rather COMCAST and for some reason not showing the PPV in HD. I was fuckin pissed when I realized it wasn't in HD.

On a side note, are there two more underutilized and under appreciated guys on the roster than John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin. I have no idea why they can't get over with people and why they don't get decent pushes. Both guys deserve to be in the I.C. title picture. Imagine the matches they could have with Y2J.

I've always been a Shelton fan (partly because I got to know him when we were both at the UofMN) but I'm becoming a very big Morrison fan. That guy is incredible in the ring.

I've have always thought that Morrison has gotten a decent push. He went from WWE Tag Team Champion, to Intercontinental Champion, to ECW Champion, back to WWE Tag Team Champion. Since the start of his career in the WWE he has held every midcard and lower title belt except for the US Championship and the Raw World Tag Titles. He obviously is not ready for the World Heavyweight Championship or the WWE Championship so he is fine where he is now.

As far as Shelton goes I have always thought he was overdue for a legit push. If you want to get him back on the ball the WWE should have him and Elijah Burke beat Holly and Rhodes to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions. Then they could go on to feud with Crime Tyme.

Re: Wrestlemania 24 Thoughts and Opinions

Me and a group of my friends went to Wrestlemania 24 and, I got to say the show was awesome! My favorite WM 24 moment was Punk winning the MITB and, the HBK and Rick Flair match.
