Justin sent us word on Thursday bringing up the fact that if the Detroit Tigers won the AL Championship Series this week, the second game of the World Series would conflict with the Bound For Glory PPV on October 22 (next Sunday) in Plymouth, Michigan.
Well, that happened last night with Detroit defeating Oakland 6-3 to advance to the World Series. Whether or not this will have a big effect on TNA's ticket sales and buyrate for Bound For Glory remains to be seen, although I think it is safe to say that no one would like to go head-to-head with those games at all.
