WWE had plans for The Big Show to face Matt 'Spike Dudley' Hyson but he ripped up his WWE-ECW contract (and yes, WWE did send him a contract for the new ECW) at the TNA house show over the weekend.

That would have been a good match man, a david and goliath with major use of head scissors to win if Spike did.

I hate ECWWrestlingNews, they never credit the source and they make shit up. It wasn't a contract for the new ECW, it was for one night only. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
It would have been a pretty cool match. Although, i don't blame Spike for turning it down, because they wanted Big Show to pick up the win. Then Spike probably wouldn't have been allowed to appear on TNA TV for a few months. Good choice by Spike.
It would have been cool, the giant vs. the giant killer. Spike might have done the spot were he gets chucked from the ring into the crowd. Which would have been awesome.
Definitely that's what interested me in the thought. I mean TNA I understand has to be strict but your talking about an ECW alumni pay per view they should allow him in without a single penalty.

Team 3D are so ingrateful to the WWE. Brother Runt should have signed that contract and left TNA. I hate Team 3D.
I think you mean "ungrateful", but I would have to disagree. They made there mark in ECW which then resulted in WWE picking them up. Team 3D or Dudley Boyz were right to go to TNA as there is no tag team division in the WWE & they are better in tag team comnpetition.
