So 24 men face off in a Battle Royal and then the winner faces Chavo for the ECW Championship. Pretty much an easy way to get 25 more guys on the card plus the ECW Championship.
Any ideas on who'll pick up the win and face Chavo?

I was reading the ECW recap on WWE.com, and they said that the winner of the battle royal will immediately go on and fight Chavo for the title right after that.
My guess is that the Battle Royal will be the last dark match before the PPV starts, and Chavo's title match will open Wrestlemania.
Tommy Dreamer winning would be nice, but if he won the title as well, it would have been with very little fanfare, and kinda dull really. It would be better watching him in a program "chasing" for the title instead for a little while.
Not a big fan of having 24 entrants, maybe it is just me but have 25 or knock it down to 20. Ideally, Rey, or even RVD returns, and wins the ECW Title but it seems more realistic that it is someone like Kane. To be honest, unless it is a big name from ECW's past or someone much more credible than Chavo (Matt Hardy's name has been mentioned) I can't see the belt changing hands.
Seriously, in the end, I think whoever wins the battle royal is gonna lose to Chavo.
As for who's gonna win the battle royal, that's a toss-up. I think Kofi Kingston will have a good showing but he won't win it. Maybe Big Daddy V will also do some damage in there, but he won't take it either.
I think Stevie Richards will win the battle royal (remember he was getting some sort of a push before having his win streak snapped by Shelton Benjamin) which I wouldn't mind seeing.
They should atleast give the match some credit and not put it in the Dark. Make it the opener.
Now back to the winnner of the royal. Honestly my guess is RVD, Dreamer, or a big name from Smackdown (coughmatthardycough) I think BDV will do damage, but Khali will be ganged and be one of the first eliminated.
If the man has credibility I see him beating chavo.
I honestly can't see RVD making an appearence at WM. If he does, great, but I just don't see it. I really had a feeling they would do something with Stevie Richards, but after seeing him get squashed by Shelton Benjamin and The Great Khali two weeks in a row, I know he'll be one of those guys that'll involve in the "classic" mass-wrestlers-thrown-out-by-monster spot in the battle royal.
If this was WCW and Russo was booking this, I'd go with Snoop Dogg as the winner and new ECW champ. Thankfully, Russo is a little busy in Orlando so I'll change my pick to either Kane or Jamie Noble.
