I was never more happy to see John Cena's face than tonight. What a comeback. Nobody saw it coming. I'm just happy Batista or some worthless piece of shit didn't win. Triple H didn't need the win, he'll end up getting a big match regardless.. I love the swerve WWE pulled tonight.
I wasn't pissed about Hardy losing as I like Orton better anyway.
LOL at the fans booing Rey. There were at least 3/4 boos.
JBL/Jericho was good. Stipulation match could be excellent.
Can't wait to see Undertaker/HBK. It has to happen now. Why tease it if it's not going down?? You had to see what occurred what with HBK being all scared and shit after the kick sent Taker flying out.
I am glad that it wasn't reported anywhere that Cena was returning at the Rumble. I truly miss those times where you are watching a PPV, or RAW, and and GENUINELY surprised to hear a certain theme music start up. Everyone at the bar I was watching it at went absolutely nuts when Cena's music came on. I'm not a huge fan of his, but I have to admit I was screaming like crazy as well when I heard it start and saw him standing at the entryway.
Did anyone else think, when he had his head down and you couldn't see his face yet, that it could have been someone else portraying Cena? I sure did at first.
Anyway: JBL/Jericho was a good match to watch, and wow did Chris get busted open. It made sense for the match to end the way it did, considering their absolute hatred for eachother. More to come on that. World Championship Match was good, but I'm sick of seeing Vickie Guerrero's face. Get her off TV. Hardy/Orton was a fun match, and Jeff had some great spots in it.

All in all a pretty fun PPV to watch.
When his head was down I was hoping it was some poser as well but sadly it was the real deal. The surprise factor was good but was no surprise he won.
I think the ending of the Hardy/Orton was a bit quick and sudden. Orton got the hell beat out of him and suddenly an RKO and he is on Hardy instantly for the cover and win. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

If you were on a bus full of gay guys would you get off?
I didn’t care much for the under card. Both the Championship matches were worth watching, but the endings were predictable. Major titles won’t change hands on events like this. Even though Hardy’s stock has risen in the last few months, he’s not ready to carry Raw, let alone main event Wrestlemania.
Nice little touch having Michael Buffer doing the intro. I’m surprised they didn’t do this years ago.
I loved the start of the Rumble match, kicking it off where it finished last time. I kind of thought that maybe they’d both go all the way to the end again, but that wasn’t to be. Taker vs. HBK will be a great match for Wrestlemania. It’ll also leave out the awkward way in which the writers would have to try and convince us a match between Edge and Taker would be a streak vs. streak match.
How stupid was the ‘decision’ to DQ Finlay. I just didn’t get it at all.
It was great to see Jimmy Snuka and Roddy Piper in there, but Snuka had way too much offence. I didn’t mind him beating up the younger guys like Miz and Morrison, but doing real damage to people like Shawn and Batista didn’t make it seem credible.
When #30 was counting down, I was rattling my brain to think of who it could be, and Cena was the last person I’d have thought of. It was a great way to book his return. 99% of people wouldn’t have seen it coming. Also the initial pop at MSG when his music hit was awesome, even if they did go onto boo him 2 minutes later.
I sooo sucks that cena won To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. , nice to see him back, but why allready give him such a big push. Not a good move from wwe in my view.
I don't like Cena at all but you have to admit that was an unreal finish.I'm a huge HHH fan and when I heard Cena's music I knew it was over for everbody else. But,it was pretty cool.
My initial thoughts were when Hardy lost the match, he would be one of the remaining people to go into the rumble and then possibly of won.
Having Cena back is ok but after his initial entrance i believe i did hear some boos ringing around MSG and now i hope Cena will face Chavo To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Buffer was cool as well and i hope they actually use him a little more as it gave the rumble a big fight feel To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Overall, fairly pleased with the rumble.
