Winner receives a Title shot of his choice at WrestleMania 24. Confirmed names so far as a result of Royal Rumble qualifying matches: Umaga, Snitsky, Hardcore Holly, Jimmy Wang Yang, Shannon Moore, John Morrison and The Mizwrong

Jericho vs JBL is just gonna plain suck. JBL's past it in the ring and plus he's gona have so much ring rust. Totally pushed him into the wrong match and it's the wrong match for Jericho too. He got screwed out of the title and that's it? Surely that should have been cleared up better.

Mysterio vs Edge could be pretty good and Orton vs Hardy should be good also. I'd love to see Hardy win the title someday but he isn't ready just yet. They really have to tweak this one out. Let him get close to winning it a couple of times and then finally give him the big one.

Miz actually really isn't that bad in the ring, him and Morrison are doing pretty well as a tag team. I'd prefer Morrison as a singles star but at the moment they need to keep them together cause they're doing some pretty good work. Snitsky in the Rumble just sucks, I guess he'll do Big Show's job though.

I like the look of it thus far, like Wrestlemania it's pretty hard to screw up and have a "bad" Royal Rumble PPV.

Jericho/JBL - I'd have preferred they held it off till Mania. I'm enjoying the feud thus far, but would have liked it better had they done a screw job in the Rumble against each other (think back to Michaels-Jericho and how they avoided having an actual in ring match for four months, including Jericho brutally wiping Michaels out of the Rumble)....slow builds are cool!

lol TD slow build in the wwe.... lawl the last one they did was MVP and Hardy.. and they only did it cause MVP wasn't Cleared to wrestle.. or... why ever they did it... buuuuut, yeah i agree with you, slow build are amazing, it just makes the match that much better, take kennedy and hbk for example, they have been in the ring together for the past 3-4 weeks now.. thats so dumb, i' sick of seeing it already

I hope they don't release the full list of 30 participants this year. The best Rumble's were always the ones where you weren't sure who was next out. Think back a few years to people like Mr. Perfect, or even Drew Carey. Sure, it was a pointless spot, and cost someone else a place, but when you know that only one of three people are so can win it, stuff like that is good fun.

I loved the last 20 minutes of last years, but the 2002 Mr Perfect Rumble was my favourite "as seen live" Rumble. I think Goldust returned on that one too, there were quite a few surprises. Plus Maven eliminated Taker!!

I wouldn't have wanted to be Maven that night. He got his head shoved in popcorn. I like the looks of the PPV as well.. wondering how Hardy/Orton is going to play out.
