WWE Championship Match- John Cena (c) vs. Bobby Lashley.
With the rumors of a Cena/Orton match at Slam, Cena looks to win here. Cleanly? Who knows. Lashley is being built as a monster. Cena has been able to beat everyone and anyone. Cena will go over here, not because he is a great champion, but rather, the buy rate for the biggest show in the summer seeing him lose the title to Orton. The what happens to Lashley? King Booker? Mr. Kennedy? Notice how their not even on the card? Because RAW is just too steep. SD is slacking big time with all of their virtual star power being gone. Just ridiculous. Cena retains.


World Heavyweight Championship - Triple Threat Match- The Great Khali (c) vs. Batista vs. Kane.

Khali better lose, Kane better win. Batista better just go away to the mid card or something. This could get bad people. I don’t like the odds of this being a good thing to watch, at all.

ECW Championship Match- John Morrison (c) vs. CM Punk.
Morrison is the top heel on ECW. Punk is the top face. Both have great talent. Morrison should retain the title here. The title switch would be to quick after only a month. Punk should get the rematch at Summer Slam, and win the title then. Though, I like to see long title runs. This should be the show stealer. Morrison retains.

Texas Bull Rope Match- Dusty Rhodes vs. Randy Orton.
This is simple. Their should be blood, and Rhodes shouldn’t go over. I hope Cody gets involved, but not so that Dusty wins. Dusty you’re a writer, stay that way. Orton wins, and continues to kill more “legends�.


WWE Intercontinental Championship Match- Umaga (c) vs. Jeff Hardy.
Well, with Umaga having plans for Summer Slam with the Jackass crew, does he need the title? Perhaps. I don’t think Hardy wins the title here, either. Though I hate to see titles wasted in six man tag team matches. Hardy should put up a fight, but Umaga comes out the winner.


WWE United States Championship Match - MVP (c) vs. Matt Hardy.
MVP is a good heel, without the belt. However, with the belt, he is just the typical “I’m better than you, because I got the gold.� With the belt he is average at best. His promos are not so hot. His commentary two weeks ago during Hardy’s match, just terrible to listen to. Hardy on the other hand is seemingly really over. Perhaps the third top face on the SD brand (Batista, Kane). Hardy has more talent IMO of the three to begin with. MVP should retain here, and Hardy chase him for the title at Summer Slam, in some sort of specialty match, or not. Either way, Hardy wins the title, not here, just wait a month or two. MVP retains via cheating

WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Cruiserweight Open - Chavo Guerrero (c) vs. Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Shannon Moore vs. Funaki vs. Jamie Noble.

Chavo has been champion since Feb. at least. However, he virtually has had zero defenses on SD. Shannon Moore, I thought he was on ECW? Funaki still has a job? Can Jimmy Wang Yang finally get the title? Will Noble be able to showcase his ability shown in ROH? I don’t see Chavo retaining the title here. Moore wont win, Funaki better not win, I think Jimmy Wang Yang will finally manage winning the title, pinning Chavo.. And setting up a feud with Chavo again, for awhile.

WWE Women's Championship Match- Candice Michelle (c) vs. Melina.
This should be quick. Candice is improving as a champion. But she is still green. Melina is a very good heel. However, their aren’t enough faces for her to compete against. Candice picks up the win, and feuds against a Beth Phoenix or someone else, other than Melina.

Singapore Cane on a Pole Match - The Sandman vs. Carlito.
Carlito is stuck in the under card. Sandman is expecting a push from McMahon. This is Sandman “match�. Hard for me to see Carlito getting the win. I really don’t want him to job to Sandman. However, the odds seem to much for the Cool one. Sandman picks up the W, and Carlito slowly fads into oblivion.

.... wow.... that card does suck... i agree with the triple threat match .. simply put get batista the fuck out of the main event spotlight... kanes time has come ...FINALLY

WWE Championship Match
John Cena vs. Bobby Lashley

I’d really like to see Lashley win this one. I think he’s ready to have the title and run with it for a while. Okay he doesn’t have the best mic skills, but neither does Batista and he had the title for a long time. But with Summerslam around the corner, it is unlikely Cena will drop the title. I see Lashley winning the match, but not the title.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
The Great Khali vs. Kane vs. Batista

I love Batista, and I’d like to see him walk away with the gold again. Kane on the other hand is way overdue a meaningful championship run. This is the best chance they have of credibly getting the title off Khali, since he doesn’t have to be pinned. The Animal and The Big Red Machine should team up and take Khali out, and then battle amongst themselves for the title. I think that will happen, but WWE will increase our pain and have Khali somehow walking away with the victory. Although I really hope I’m proved wrong.

ECW Championship Match
John Morrison (he’ll always be Nitro to me) vs. CM Punk

I would have called this match in Punks favour had Nitro not morphed into Morrison this past week. This suggests to me that Nitro will pick up the victory, with Punk getting a gimmick rematch at Summerslam. Where he’ll finally land his first WWE/ECW title.

Texas Bull Rope Match
Randy Orton vs. Dusty Rhodes

No way should the American Dream win this one. As ChosenOne said, expect a lot of blood. Randy will pick up the victory in this one, but something will happen to make this feud continue.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy

This will be the Hardy Boyz night, with both Matt and Jeff picking up wins tonight. Maybe Umaga gets distracted by some of the Jackass crew to set up his match with them at Summerslam? Either way, Jeff will pick up the win, but not cleanly.

WWE US Championship Match
MVP vs. Matt Hardy

This is Matt’s year. I can see nothing but a victory over MVP tonight, with a rematch (possibly a ladder match) at Summerslam. This could be a helluva match, and I wouldn’t bet against it stealing the show. Should be a cracker.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Cruiserweight Open
Chavo Guerrero vs. Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Shannon Moore vs. Funaki vs. Jamie Noble

I’ve not really been keeping up with things in the cruiserweight division, so I’m just going to pick Shannon Moore, which will make it a perfect night for the old Omega Boys from North Carolina. If Shannon doesn’t pick up the win, the The redneck Wang Yang will do. Chavo will drop the title in preparation for his forthcoming feud with Mysterio. Maybe Mysterio will cost him the title?

WWE Womens Championship Match
Candice vs. Melina

Not really bothered by this one. Melina has done as much as she can with the title, so putting it back on her won’t progress any storylines whatsoever. I’ll pick Candice to win, with her moving on to battle Beth Phoenix for her next feud.

Singapore Cane on a Pole Match
Carlito vs. The Sandman

Ah a good old something on a pole match. I haven’t seen one of these for ages! How bad is it to see Carlitos stock fall this low? He should be competing at upper mid card, but unfortunately he doesn’t seem to be able to break through the proverbial glass ceiling. Sandman seems to be getting a big push soon, so he’ll probably get the victory here. But the big question is… what’s happened to Carlito!?
