I know, I know, the Rumble has been and gone for another year. But whilst we look back over UT's victory, I thought it might be cool to reminisce about your favourite Rumble moments of all time.
Just a few to get the ball rolling...
*Rock winning in 2000. I was still uneducated in the world of wrestling, and I marked out big time for the Rock. I just remember that being awesome.
*Kurt Angle and HBK's exchange in the 2005 Rumble that you knew would lead to a Mania match. Kurt comes in, cleans house, HBK delivers a swift Sweet Chin from nowhere, eliminates the Olympic Champ, and then Angle goes apeshit, eliminates HBK and then throws him into some steel steps for good measure.
*Mr Perfect's return in 2002 (I think it was '02), was totally unexpected, and fantastic that they made him come so close to winning. I loved Mr P.. RIP Curt Hennig.
*Eddie and Benoit starting off the 2005 Rumble, I just remember marking out for that, the 2 guys who had been at the headlines of Mania 20 were gonna start the tussle to headline Mania 21. Brilliant stuff.
*HBK vs Taker, 2007 Rumble. Who didn't love that 5/10 minute fight to the death? I loved every second. Reminded everyone why these 2 are considered future Hall of Famers, without question.
Just a few to get the ball rolling..

Re: Favourite Rumble Moments
Curt Hennig's return (and subsequently getting down to the final three) was probably my favourite.
I enjoyed the shock of Maven eliminating Undertaker a few years back. That was a huge shock, and boy did he pay for it with subsequent beatings!
Davey Boy Smith and HBK's first two in, last two out was incredible and had a superb finish.
Ric Flairs 1992 Rumble/Title win was sensational.
The "West Side Story" face off in the ring (to accompany the excellent promos for the show) was very well done and had really made the crowd seriously want a Raw/Smackdown face off.

When Grandmaster Sexay and D-Lo Brown started the 2000 Royal Rumble, it was so good to see two icons of the ring together for what I believe to be the first time

Hurricane attempting to Double Chokeslam Triple H and Stone Cold in the 2002Rumble.
Taka landing on his face in the 2000 Rumble.
Drew Carey in the 2001 Rumble.
Scotty facing the Brothers of Destruction in the 2002 Rumble.
And of course, the 3 faces of Foley in 1998.

I loved the Bushwacker (either Luke or Butch, don't remember) doing his dance down the aisle, coming in the ring, getting thrown out in about 4 seconds, and doing his dance back up the aisle without skipping a beat. That was hilarious!!!
Also, Chris Benoit winning the Rumble was a nice ending that year (whichever year it was..) He finally got what he deserved, which ultimately led to a title win at that years Wrestlemania.
