Here's how i had booked the Rumble on Saturday with several plans for Mania in mind. Please let me know anything good or bad with it and whether you want to continue to hear how i plan to book on the way to and at Mania. Thanks

Royal Rumble
JBL vs. The Boogeyman
(An uneventful match. Boogeyman tries to use his mind games to throw JBL off his game, but Bradshaw counters with pure striking power and wins with The Clothesline From Hell.)
Winner: JBL
(Backstage Booker T is warming up for the Rumble with Sharmell….that sounded wrong. Newho, Randy Orton walks into the room. He reminds Booker that he has a favour owed to him for helping the Bookerman retain the US Title. Orton reminds Booker he is cashing in the favour in the Rumble with them two teaming up and then at the end having Booker eliminate himself. Booker tries to talk his way out of it, but Randy tells him that it’s not a request, it’s an order. Booker reluctantly agrees and Randy leaves the room.)
Mickie James vs. Ashley (Special Ref: Trish Stratus)
(Trish officiates the match fairly as expected. Stock-standard match. Ashley gets a roll-up out of nowhere and Trish counts the fair 3.)
Winner: Ashley
(After the match, Mickie is inconsolable in the corner.)
(Backstage, Vince is in his office. HBK comes charging in. He asks Vince what is the deal with the number he drew in the Rumble. Vince says he may or may not of rigged the draw, but now HBK has a choice. He can join Vince or he can screw up his chance to headline Mania again and say no to the partying life. HBK throws his Rumble number at Vince and tells him to grow up as he leaves.)
Edge vs. John Cena – WWE Championship
(Both go back and forth in the match until the end. Cena has the match won as he lines up for the F-U but Lita distracts the ref as Edge uses the belt to knock Cena out and get the three.)
Winner: Edge
(Backstage Kurt Angle is giving an interview, saying how despite Mark Henry powering out of the Ankle Lock on Smackdown he still promises victory as he goes on to defend his title at Mania. He is interrupted by Rey Mysterio who wishes him luck in the match and says that it would be an honour to face him at Mania after he wins the Royal Rumble tonight. At this time, Randy Orton also interrupts and says that Rey is living in a dream world, because it will be the Legend Killer who wins the Rumble and then it will be an honour for Kurt Angle to lose to Orton at Mania. All three squabble until Mark Henry comes past and tells them to stop arguing about who is going to face Angle at Mania, because it’s not going to happen. Mark Henry then leaves to go towards the ring for the next match.)
Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry – World Heavyweight Championship
(Angle dominates. He puts the Ankle Lock on and Henry attempts to power out, but Angle grapevines the leg and eventually Henry taps out.)
Winner – Kurt Angle
(Backstage Carlito is having an interview. He says that he guarantees victory in the Royal Rumble because he as a secret weapon. But now he feels so confident that he will reveal the secret. And that weapon, is The Masterpiece who is revealed to be standing next to them. He says once the Masterpiece and himself eliminate all the others it’ll only be a matter of time, before Carlito is announced as the 2006 Royal Rumble Winner. Now that’s cool. Carlito walks off, but Masters stays behind. When Carlito is out of sight, Masters says that Carlito is mistaken. When it comes down to them two, there is no doubt that he, The Masterpiece will emerge victorious.)

Murdoch is eliminated by Lashley with a Gorilla Press Slam
6. Rey Mysterio

Snitsky is Eliminated by a Rey Mysterio dropkick
8. Super Crazy
Super Crazy is eliminated by Lashley who reversed a Hurricanrana into a powerbomb to the outside.
9. Simon Dean
William Regal is eliminated by Chris Masters who uses the Masterlock to weaken Regal and then throws him out.
Simon Dean is eliminated by Lashley with a Back Body Drop
10. Chris Benoit
11. Ric Flair
12. Kane
Kane dominates by chokeslamming everybody but Lashley. They stare down and eventually brawl.
13. JBL
JBL doesn’t enter the Rumble, he just sits by the commentary table to offer his own colour analysis.
14. Joey Mercury
Ric Flair is eliminated by Triple H after going for some chops in the corner, Hunter reverses and sends Naitch sailing.
JBL gets up from the commentary table with a chair and hits Lashley with a steel chair before returning to the announce table.
Lashley is eliminated after Masters’ capitalises on JBL’s chair shot and dispatches of Lashley.
15. Carlito
Masters and Carlito double team everyone in the rumble and dominate.
Chris Masters is eliminated after he turned his back on Carlito and Carlito shoved him out.
Kane is eliminated after Rey Mysterio hits Kane with a dropkick when the Big Red Machine was off balance.
16. Psicosis
17. Randy Orton
18. Shelton Benjamin
Psicosis is eliminated by Randy Orton with a clothesline.
Joey Mercury is eliminated by Chris Benoit with the Crippler’s charging shoulders.
19. Rob Conway
Rob Conway doesn’t enter immediately, but he walks over to Shelton’s Momma and talks trash to her.
Shelton Benjamin is eliminated by Carlito who tosses him over when he distracted by Conway.
20. Johnny Nitro
21. Booker T
Immediately upon entering, Booker T teams up with Randy Orton.
Johnny Nitro is eliminated by Triple H after a knee lift.
Rob Conway is eliminated by Triple H after a clothesline.
22. Chavo Guerrero
23. The Boogeyman
The Boogeyman appears behind the commentary booth. And he drags JBL into the Royal Rumble match.
24. Matt Hardy
Chavo Guerrero is eliminated by Matt Hardy who dropkicks him over the top rope.
JBL and The Boogeyman are both eliminated when JBL hits the Clothesline From Hell against the ropes but Boogeyman drags him over as well.
Triple H and Randy Orton confront each other in the middle of the ring but they don’t fight. They talk trash. Triple H quickly turns away.
Booker T is eliminated when Triple H attacks him from behind and sends him sailing over the ropes.
Triple H looks back at Orton and smiles. Orton attacks The Game.
25. Jeff Hardy
Matt Hardy is shocked and surprised, but Jeff Hardy gives him a high five. They then turn to team up.
Matt Hardy is eliminated by Jeff Hardy when Jeff grabs Matt from behind and throws him out. He then starts trash-talking Matt.
Jeff Hardy is eliminated by himself when he climbs to the top rope to dive on Matt on the outside.
26. Chris Jericho
The Rumble participants are shocked to hear Jericho’s music as the Ayatollah runs out.
Chris Benoit is eliminated by Jericho with a springboard dropkick.
27. Big Show
As per the usual, Big Show knocks everybody down as soon as he enters.
28. Rob Van Dam
RVD runs out with a steel chair in his hands and has only eyes for Carlito.
Carlito is eliminated by RVD, with a Van Daminator.
29. Gregory Helms
30. Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels dominates as soon as he enters around. He turns around when Bret Hart’s music begins to play.
Shawn Michaels is eliminated by Chris Jericho when he was distracted looking at the entrance way.
Outside Michaels looks up to see Vince McMahon on the stage dressed as Bret Hart. HBK is naturally pissed and chases after McMahon.
Gregory Helms is eliminated by The Big Show who gorilla presses him out.
Rob Van Dam is eliminated by Chris Jericho with a spin kick.
Big Show is eliminated by Rey Mysterio and Triple H, after Rey first dropkicks him off balance and then Triple H hits Show over the ropes with the chair RVD left in the ring.
(FINAL FOUR: Triple H, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton and Chris Jericho)
Triple H is eliminated by Rey Mysterio after he had immediately turned around from eliminating Big Show, Mysterio kicked the chair in his face, causing him to go over.
Triple H is angry and pulls out a Sledgehammer from under the ring. He runs in and clocks Rey in the face with it.
Rey Mysterio is eliminated by Randy Orton, very easily as Rey is knocked out.
Randy Orton and Chris Jericho take part is several near eliminations of each other.
Randy Orton is eliminated by Chris Jericho as after Y2J was looking for the Walls of Jericho, he decides just to slingshot Orton over the ropes instead.
Winner: Chris Jericho
(After the match, Jericho celebrates as the show goes off the air.)
Linear Mode
