The ending to the main event has me pretty disgusted. I understand that Hogan is over huge but why have him go over Michaels clean with HBK is actually with the company full time. Makes no sense, god that finish pissed me off with Michaels apparently a "good guy" again. It wasn't a terrible ppv but that main event just pissed me off. Hogan barely even moved around in there, you had to have HBK bouncing all over the place it was pretty much like he was the only guy out there.
So dissapointed, fuck you Hogan you no selling decrepid piece of shit.
Well..what can I say. I should have trusted my instincts and stayed away from this PPV, but I said, "It's SummerSlam, maybe something cool will happen"..but it didn't and now I'm pissed off.
Here's my thoughts:
OJ/Benoit: Well..OJ got squashed, he can go to Velocity and get fired I don't care, Benoit could do good things with the title, we'll see.
Prediction: OJ never gets pushed again, Benoit becomes a fighting champion and dominates everyone on the SD! roster, but the matches for the most part end up sucking, because he'll fight people like Simon Dean.
Edge/Matt: Way too short..and Matt was made to look like a fool for coming back, I could have seen this coming a mile away.
Prediction: Edge goes on to main event, still has his MITB match, Hardy does nothing for a couple months, maybe he fights Edge again, but then is quickly fired. What an idiot.
Rey/Eddie: Had a lot of good spots, good action, but I could have done without the run-ins from the Wife and kid.
Prediction: They put Rey in some lame tag team and Eddie waits to become champion..Rey wins this feud, but Eddie ends up getting the push regardless.
Angle/Eugene: Haha..crowd was all for Angle, I was loving it.
Prediction: Angle continues to be an MVP for RAW, Eugene continues to get booed, WWE realizes this gimmick is over, they send Dinsmore back to OVW to get repackaged, he comes back with an even dumber gimmick and his career is ruined.
Orton/Taker: decent match, Orton won so I was happy.
Prediction: Orton moves on to great, gets next shot at Dave and looks better against Dave than HHH/JBL combined because he is the new Golden Boy of WWE. Taker get involved in some shit feud, then goes away for a while and somebody challenges him for a match at Mania where he wins again and then finally retires.
Cena/Jericho: Good match..but why do they always use that same formula? Cena gets his ass kicked the whole time, does the F-U, which is still a weak ass finisher and gets the win..
Prediction: Cena kills some mid-carders, WWE doesn't know what else to do, so they pull the trigger on the Triple H feud 5 months too early. Jericho moves down to mid-card and tours with Fozzy off and on, he doesn't get too many main event matches now for the rest of his career.
Batista/JBL: Boring match, these two should never fight again..
Prediction: JBL STILL finds a way to get in main events even though he was killed, Batista waits to fight Orton when Orton kills him off and Batista never gains the type of momentum he has now again.
HBK/Hogan: Good match, HBK worked hard out there and carried it, I hated the finish with Hogan winning, and then it got even worse when they shook hands.
Prediction: We don't see Hogan for a while until it's time for him and Austin to hook up..I'm guessing Mania 22...HBK turns back into the generic face he was before this, WWE completely kills off his momentum, he gives weak face promos that nobody cares about, and Triple H comes back and is forced to be the dominent heel on the show again...Nothing EVER changes with WWE does it?
Overall, I'm extremely pissed off.
PS: If I never see Hogan in a ring again, I'll be very, very, very, very, very, HAPPY!

I have many thoughts to add about Summerslam, but I am tired and not in the mood to bash the WWE right now. I will add many more thoughts tomorrow.
But a few notes now....
The product was getting better but this "big PPV" sure seemed like a glorified Raw to me.
The WWE continues to push the lesser talented people over the legit stars of the show.
When you put two title matches before a main event where one of the people is 50 something and not even a full time wrestler, you got some problems in your booking department. Same goes for the Edge/Hardy placement on the show.
Did anyone notice the similarities in Cena and Hogans wrestling style? Its so similar its almost disgusting.

Hogan is entertaining but he is a terrible wrstler and should not get a clean victory over somebody like HBK.

I guess we know the answer to my sig now. It is: Complain more and more to Vinnie Mac and kill off the second coming over the greatest heel character in WWE's history. Absolute disgrace to have Hogan go over clean and the ending.
