The seeds of this rivalry were officially planted at the Royal Rumble, when HBK eliminated Angle only to have the enraged Olympic gold medalist re-enter the ring and dismantle Michaels with submission holds.

Then after weeks of sneak attacks and brawls, HBK and Angle squared off on the biggest stage of them all — and they delivered a match for the ages full of near-falls and narrow escapes. The battle concluded with Michaels trapped in Kurt’s ankle lock and nowhere to go. After a prolonged fight, HBK tapped.

“The Showstopper� clearly hasn’t forgotten how things ended in the ring in Hollywood, as the moment Angle was drafted to RAW, HBK seized the opportunity to challenge him to a pay-per-view rematch. A confident Angle promptly accepted — then reminded HBK how things ended the last time around.

Will Vengeance be another “dream match� for Angle, or will “Sweet Chin Music� find the mark in the desert? We’ll find out June 26.

Captain Charisma's big moment in the spotlight is getting overshadowed by the Ayatolla. Not that I'm complaining, but hasn't Jericho's heel turn focused on his lack of desire to commit to his wrestling career? Why suddenly does he care so much about the belt? Stupid bookers. Anyhow, Jericho takes the belt, goes to Smackdown, and leads the change of Smackdown to ECW.

Edge has dominated this feud and Kane is due a receipt. Unless something big happens that puts Kane out of action to get repackaged (please, God), I don't see Kane being Edge's bitch again. Maybe Matt Hardy's teased return from last Monday is an indication of a return for V1 to screw over Edge - which would rock!

Although HBK is due the receipt, Kurt just got traded to Raw and will hopefully be put into a program with Batista for the World Title. In order to get there, he has to get through HBK again. Let's see if this one bests their WM-21 classic.

Carlito *just* won the title. Shotgunning a second title change in 6 days would make no sense from a booking standpoint. I say move Shelton over to Smackdown after this match and bring some fresh air to their midcard division.

It wouldn't be right if they didn't bastardize the women's division, right? While Victoria should win this match by all practical purposes, this is WWE world where there is no women's roster left and with Trish out on injury, they have no champion right now to elevate towards (what ever happened to the 30-day rule for title defenses anyway?). But, Trish should be back fairly soon (please, God), and a babyface Christy would need the push against the heel champion. So, sadly, Victoria's much-needed heel turn will be all for naught unless they decide to continue this storyline.

I originally was thinking that Cena would end up back on SD! with the title but, after hearing Jericho's comments in a recent interview I really think hes getting the strap and will subsequently be traded. That being said I dont think Trips will win. I think the Cena/HHH feud everyone is talking about will be on hold for a while.

Kane is not going to get a reciept in this fued. Lita and Edge have a lot of heat right now and I think WWE is about to make Edge the #1 contender. Therefore, Edge needs to beat the Big Red Machine to keep his momentum going. Kane will probably drop off TV for a month or so and reemerge at Summerslam.

Shawn is owed the receipt from Wrestlemania so I think the WWE will give him the win here. I know Angle was just drafted but he has a lot of heat so a loss doesnt hurt him. The rubbermatch between these two will be held at Summerslam. This should be a great one!

There is no way Carlito is going to drop this immediately following his win on Monday. I expect this feud to carry into Summerslam and maybe even Survivor Series. Its time for an epic battle for the IC strap and raise its prestige.
