Do you guys remember when RAW was first on the air? They had (I think he was) a local NY radio guy doing the color commentary with Vince. Rob somethingoranother. The RAW after the 93 Rumble, Yokozuna was wrestling someone and Vince was going on about how no one had ever taken Yoko off his feet.
This radio guy, who had been the other announcer since the show started, said "But Vince, Savage knocked him down at the Rumble last night."
Vince replied "No, no he didn't...Yoko has never been taken off his feet"
The radio guy kept on about how Savage did it last night, and eventually stopped. It was the last RAW he did lol.
I also remember a few weeks/months prior to this, Mr. Perfect/Ric Flair, loser leaves the WWF. Going into a break during the match, Vince proclaimed "Who will win this great matchup? We have no idea!" The other guy actually said "But Vince, you told me earlier Perfect was going to win..." That was fun stuff.

I hate it when commentators say dumb shit...like this past week on SD! for example. Matt Morgan put Big Show through a table with an F5 and Cole and Tazz said, "We've never seen Big Show manhandled like this before."
Yeah, ok. Brock Lesnar was doing that shit every week to the Big Show, but I guess I'm supposed to forget that. They could have just said, something like Matt looked real impressive or whatever and that would have been fine.
Royal Rumble 93 was awesome. My favorite rumble ever. Razor vs Bret was a great match. Marty & Shawn worked well in their match. The Steiners made a few mistakes in their match but I think it was just because they were nervous (first rumble and all). Bam Bam vs Bossman kinda sucked but was kept short enough to not matter. Lex Luger's debut as Narcissist was entertaining just because of Bobby Heenan's rant during it. The actual rumble match was good too. Bob Backlund was in there forever and when Giant Gonzalez came out of nowhere everyone was shocked. They didn't even notice the time to count down when IRS & Damian Demento came down. Yokozuna was on his back when he eliminated Savage to win it. It was impressive. I totally recommended it.
Royal Rumble 94 was almost as good. Although, 1994 was kind of a bad year for WWE. What with all the cartoony gimmicks and such. Best match on the card was The Quebecers vs Bret & Owen. Owen's heel turn at the end was interesting. Taker's casket match with Yoko was good until about 10 heels came out to help Yoko beat him. Rumble match - Bret & Luger's feet hit the floor at the same time (which I was amazed actually worked on live TV). Nothing else of note from that match, really.
I'd buy it just for Royal Rumble 93 alone. 94 was good, don't get me wrong, but 93 was better in my important opinion.
