Well, it's no secret that the live fans have been making these loud ass chants during every Edge and Lita segment..mostly Lita.
First, do you think these chants will die down?
And second, what should WWE do about it...I mean, they kind of have to turn Lita heel don't they?
The major problem from what I can see..is that the live fans aren't even letting Edge and Lita conduct in-ring promos which isn't good for their characters. So what to do?

From a business point of view, heel them up together. Edge is an unconvincing heel at the moment and putting her with him may give it focus, I sure bet Vince has thought about this.
From a personal point of view, I don't really care. Edge has a lot of the tools but is missing the x-factor, and Lita is a horrible actress and a far from good looking diva who shouldn't even be on telly whilst she can't wrestle.

I don't think the chants will go away anytime soon. Everytime WWE goes to Canada, what's the one chant you always hear if HBK or Earl Hebner are in the building? "You screw Bret."
Stone Cold hasn't wrestled a match in over 2 years and aside from one cameo, has been off WWE TV for over a year, yet you still hear the "What?" chants when a heel conducts a promo.
So no, I don't think these chants towards Edge and Lita will go away.

The Bret thing happened openly and was talked about and addressed over a long period of time. No one is talking about the Matt Hardy thing except for Matt Hardy.
The What chants aren't even in the same ballpark as far as chants go.

I think people hold Matt in more esteem than you think Ida. I think will roll for a good few months and if Matt is a hit elsewhere it could become acutely embarassing for the WWE.

I doubt it. People act like he was going to become the next champ in a month or something. Yes, he was talented but that doesn't mean there wasn't more to the story than we know or that it will affect WWE. Afterall, they let AJ get away.

Only time will tell I suppose. I just wish everyone would move on now. As Ida says we don't know the full story although it does seem pretty clear. Judging by Monday nights Raw though, I don't think anything could embarass WWE right now!!
