Remember it's a RAW PPV...So make the card the way you would do it given the current roster and champions they have to choose from. I'll do mine later today of what should happen.

Tyler Durden

Batista -vs- Randy Orton -vs- HHH (Streetfight No DQ)
I'd delay Randy's surgery and have him "injured" in this match to explain his loss. Batista gets the win pinning the brutalised Randy

Edge -vs- Chris Jericho
Jericho riles Edge into putting his title shot on the line against him during a Highlight reel spot. Edge retains the World Title shot on the PPV thanks to help from Christian who he again promises a 1st title shot to should he win (have the crowd not know this till after the match)

Kane -vs- Christian w/ Tomko
Christian needs a big win to put him on track. Have him go over the big red machine with a tad of assistance from Tomko. Both men get a pasting from Kane post match

Shelton Benjamin -vs- Muhammed Hassan w/ Daivari (IC Title)
Benjamin goes over here but try and make it look very close with the hope that this feud can continue. This should be Hassan's first pinfall loss and his anger should enable the feud to run with designs that Hassan will get the title, maybe at Summerslam if not before

The Rockers -vs- LaResistance (Tag Titles)
LaResistance win titles this week on TV. Play up to the fact that "officially" The Rockers never won Tag Titles. I think!!! have LaResistance go over in this one. Strange but I'll explain. Conway to get the pin on HBK due to an error by Jannetty. Gives Conway (a real stud in the making) a chance to play on a pin victory (albeit in tags) over HBK and gives Rockers a chance to either (a) keep chasing as the chase is the big thrill or (b) start a dissension tease between Jannetty and Michaels.

Chris Benoit -vs- Chris Masters
In a "fake angle" have it seem like Masters has injured Rhyno or Tajiri. Have Benoit confront Masters and explain to him how he is a rookie and is going through experienced pros with families to feed, bringing up the injury to Richards too. Have him tell Masters he needs someone to take him to school. Have Masters back down and apologise, but then later on the show he interferes in Benoit's Raw match and hits him on his injured arm with a chair, thus making Benoit want him on PPV. He gets the match and Benoit, with great difficulty playing up to his injury does make Masters tap.

Trish Stratus -vs- Molly Holly -vs- Victoria (Womens Title)
Have the other two bitch to Trish about putting her title on the line against Diva novices instead of real competition (I know I know). Match boils down to a triple threat with whichever women is pinned having to become the winners personal bitch for 30 days. Trish to win, Molly to become her bitch. Go further down the line with this with Molly always having to run interference for Trish until eventually she turns on her.

Good card dude. Although I'm not sure about Masters. As of yet, haven't been too impressed with him, but that's probably the gimmick/booking not really the guy himself. I'd hold off with orton as well. Orton/HHH/Batista could be real big as there is a couple of years history behind it

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

World Title Match (First Blood)

Batista (c) vs. Triple H

I'd have Batista get the win here and look fairly dominent, but have Flair be the reason for The Game to get busted open. Then HHH can get pissed at Flair and beat him up the next nite. Yes, I want to see Flair turn face, and Triple H form a new Evolution. I'd have Maven, Simon Dean, and Chris Masters be the new members.

I.C. Title Match

Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Chris Benoit

I just think this would be an awesome match...give it 20-25 minutes and they could tear the house down. I'd have Shelton retain.

World Tag Titles Match (2 out of 3 Falls)

Tajiri & Regal (c) vs. Edge & Christian

I'd forget about Edge's World Title shot for a while. This will give him something else to do, and the stipulation adds more drama to the match. I'd have E & C win and feud with The Rockers for a while until Edge is ready to get the shot.

Women's Title Match (Street Fight)

Trish Stratus (c) vs. Victoria

If you remember these two had some street fights in the past and they weren't too bad..both women are better in the ring now then they were then so lets see it. I'd have Trish win, but Victoria look really good.

HBK vs. Muhammad Hassan

I think this should be a controversial win for Hassan to get him over. HBK can then tag with Janetty and Hassan can work a serios program with Shelton.

Kane vs. Randy Orton

I'd have Kane win this one and Orton can further his injury. Then Orton can show up on SD! when he's healthy and Kane can have a nice win under his belt.

Chris Jericho vs. Gene Snitsky

Jericho wins. Yes, it seems like a low point for Jericho to be in there with Gene but I don't have anything else for Chris to do at the moment with the other matches I've set up. So Jericho wins here, and then I'd like to see him take the win and end up on SD! where he can be pushed properly.

Hell In A Cell for the World Heavyweight Championship
Batista vs. Triple H
This would hide the weaknesses that their Mania match had - namely, Batista isn't entertaining when he's on the defensive, so having a match that has the gimmick take precedent over the "story" the match tells could lead to a better match overall. Plus, I like HIAC.

Open Challenge for the Intercontinental Championship
Shelton Benjamin vs. Matt Hardy
Unless they trade Hardy to Smackdown to get him away from Lita & Edge, I'd love to see the Sensei of Mattitude return in a big way. I'd have Shelton extend an open challenge to whomever wants to take it for the I-C belt at Backlash, and then have Matt show up unadvertised.

Submission Match
Edge vs. Chris Benoit
It seems like they're using this as a program to carry Edge through until he's ready to collect on his ladder match win. These two work well together, and I think that sweetening the pot by making it a submission match is a logical escalation of their feud.

Triple Threat Match for the Women's Championship
Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly vs. Victoria
Eh, why not? At least all 3 can work...and they're the only 3 who can work and are healthy right now. Shame...

Christian vs. Tyson Tomko
Have Captain Charisma lose the scrub and go on his own.

Chris Jericho vs. Chris Masters
Masters has been around for a few months, time to give him a program. Why not with the Ayatollah of Rock-n-Rolla?

World Tag Team Championship
William Regal & Tajiri vs. The Rockers
C'mon - you know you want to see it too!

Simon Dean & Maven vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin & Kane
Make this one kind of impromptu, as well. Basically, Austin has already had a run-in with them, so have Kane have one in the next week or two, and have another Dean/Maven promo be interrupted at the PPV by Kane & SCSA. Of course, I'd have Kane turn heel on Austin and have them have a match at Vengeance (assuming SCSA is going to be around on a semi-regular basis).

Chris Masters doesn't deserve to be on PPV yet, except for his first match against Steven Richards he hasn't faced anybody but indy wrestlers.

I love those two ideas. As I have stated about 500 times, I am going to Backlash. A hell in the cell would be so sweet. I imagine the match will be gimmicked to all hell somehow.

Matt Hardy is the perfect person to take the IC belt from Benjamin. Totally unannounced and win it......I love it.
