Rep Power: 17 ![]() | Are they having the battle royal for sure? I was thinking all week that HHH would take the match with Orton instead. I mean, why would HHH choose to face everyone in a battle royal, when he could just wrestle Orton, one-on-one? What logic would HHH use if he decides to take the Battle Royal? The odds of him keeping the title are better if he wrestles against only one person.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I'd like to see the belt change hands, but I'm not sure who I'd pick to take it. I will say that I kinda doubt that Naitch will win it, but I was thinking today about what I would say is a decent storyline for Naitch before he "hangs up the boots": OK, it's pretty apparent that HHH is going to surpass Flair's 16 reigns as World Champion. I think that they should evolve this into a storyline, in which HHH drops the title a few times and quickly regains it, eventually getting to his 15th reign. He drops the title again, and is in line for a title match, and casually ribs Flair, stating that he'll be tied with him after he wins the belt for the 16th time. Flair would take exception to this, costing HHH the match - thus ruining his chance at being tied with the "only legend in the business." This could lead to a PPV match (triple threat, fatal 4-way, elimination chamber, whatever) in which it would come down to Flair vs. HHH to determine who will win the World title belt. Naitch would pull it off and win his 17th World Championship, much to HHH's dismay. They would have a rematch between the two of them at the next PPV as a title vs. career match, in which Naitch would finally retire as an active wrestler, and HHH would eventually surpass Flair's record. While I'm not sure how many more "miles" Flair has in him, I think this would be a good way to give Slick Ric one last run with the gold before retiring.

Anyway, HHH passed on the Orton match before he heard option two, so I guess Orton said ok then and made the battle royal match. I was watching some of Heat and they were promoting the battle royal so I guess it's gonna happen. The beginning of the battle royal will be hella predictable. Naitch and Dave will help HHH dismantle the likes of Rosey and Big Vis. It won't be until it's time for Naitch and Dave to made up there mind on whether or not to dump HHH that the Battle royal will get interesting. Either that or HHH will be the only Evolution member left towards the end which will suck cuz then it will make him look unstopable in comparison to the rest of the roster.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | I honestly don't think Trips will drop the title. As much as some of us would like to see that happen, it won't. But, I have to agree with Y2J in that Trips will try to surpass Naitch's title record. |

I suppose they could always come up with a story this week where Batista and Flair tease dissension against Hunter throughout the show however, and this is the good bit.........at the last minute it turns out it was a swerve all along (gasp........).
