The people who spent the longest in the ring are also mentioned, along with what number they drew, how long they lasted and what number elimination they were.. e.g. the first one below says "Bret Hart (1st)meaning the number he drew (8th) was the 8th person eliminated and 25:44 was the time he spent in the ring."

Great topic by the way, very interesting stuff.

Notice since 1998 the guy that wins usually comes in towards the end? They should really try to mix it up a little this year. Its my favorite PPV of the year even though I can tell you within a couple of people who will win. I would like to see them give it to someone you don't expect and let them ride that momentum to see if they can get some heat for it.

Who knows, it would probably work.

I fear that Goldberg will win it, giving us another yawn match between Triple H and Goldberg at Mania. I don't know why WWE would do that if the rumors of Goldberg leaving after Mania are true.

If Goldberg doesn't win it I'm not sure who will. Cena I guess, or Angle. That would give us the WM 19 rematch with Brock vs Angle. It's shaping up to be a very deep talent pool this year. Not the usual 5 stars who could win and 25 jobbers to fill the other spaces.

And, of course, there's always the unlikely possibility that a jobber may win. I've always wanted to see that happen, but it never will. It'd be an awesome surprise though. Let's say Maven, for example. Heck, they could always come up with something before Mania to take it away from him.

Anyways, it should be a good one regardless. Royal Rumble is definitely my favorite PPV of the year.
