Rep Power: 6 ![]() | [b:post_uid0]World Heavyweight Championship[/b:post_uid0] Goldberg (champion) vs. HHH vs. Kane [i:post_uid0]My take on this match is that either 1) WWE didn't have enough faith in a Kane/Goldberg match so they had to throw in another person, 2) Goldberg wouldn't job to Kane, so they put HHH in there to (possibly) do the job for him), or 3) HHH's ego won't let him take time off. In the end, I'm thinking that 1 and 3 are correct. I don't see them putting the belt on Kane. He doesn't need it. HHH winning the title back is always a nagging possibility, but I'm going with [b:post_uid0]Goldberg[/b:post_uid0] retaining on this one, and continuing until Mania as champ.[/i:post_uid0] [b:post_uid0]Intercontinental Championship[/b:post_uid0] Rob Van Dam (champion) vs. Randy Orton [i:post_uid0]Here's a case of what WWE should do vs. what WWE will do. They should have Van Dam retain and continue to bring a good name to the I-C title. However, they will have Orton win his first championship, using the belt to elevate him up the card. I hate that kind of booking. Championships mean as much as they guy wearing it. Is a somewhat rookie wearing a title supposed to be prestigious? He fought a long, hard road for his [b:post_uid0]year-and-a-half career[/b:post_uid0] to finally become the I-C Champ... No! That's not how it's supposed to be. I want to have faith in WWE, but I know better. [b:post_uid0]Orton[/b:post_uid0] takes the gold.[/i:post_uid0] Batista vs. Shawn Michaels [i:post_uid0]Batista has all the heat going into this one. Classic WWE booking says HBK gets the receipt, but I think differently. Batista is coming back off of a lengthy injury, and needs established as a force. HBK has no qualms in elevating him to the match of his short career. I pick [b:post_uid0]Batista[/b:post_uid0] to take it.[/i:post_uid0] Booker T vs. Mark Henry [i:post_uid0]This is a tough one. Mark Henry has been destroying everyone with his "World's Strongest Slam" - Booker included. For the first time in his career, he's being booked properly. He's on a big roll, whereas Booker has spent most of his time staring at the arena lights lately. Booker needs this win, but so does Henry. I pick [b:post_uid0]Booker[/b:post_uid0] taking this one, but not cleanly.[/i:post_uid0] [b:post_uid0]Battle of the Sexes[/b:post_uid0] Chris Jericho and Christian vs. Trish Stratus and Lita [i:post_uid0]On paper, this is the "WTF?!?" match of the show. However, I predict this one to be short and sweet. I smell a set-up by Trish, having her turn heel on Lita, and her aligning with Y2J - revealing that the whole "bet" was just a mind game. Trish turns on Lita to get back the spotlight, and [b:post_uid0]Jericho & Christian[/b:post_uid0] come out on top.[/i:post_uid0] [b:post_uid0]Tag Team Turmoil for the World Tag Team Championship[/b:post_uid0] Dudley Boyz (champions) vs. La Resistance vs. Jindrak & Cade vs. Hurricane & Rosey vs. Storm & Venis vs. Test & Steiner [i:post_uid0]How many guys can you fit in one match? This won't be pretty - as tag matches of 4 or more teams end up being full of bad psychology, screwed up spots, and all around bad booking. That said, I think that [b:post_uid0]Test & Steiner[/b:post_uid0] most need this win, so I guess I'll go with them.[/i:post_uid0] Note: Why they're leaving off Molly Holly and Matt Hardy is beyond me. They're two of the people that Raw should be pushing right now, but have seemingly lost interest in doing so. Regardless, I think that this PPV will be pretty solid, as none of the matches (aside from possibly the Battle of the Sexes) are easily predited.

Rep Power: 21 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | World Heavyweight Championship HHH vs Kane vs Goldberg I dont care... HHH i guess. Maybe Steph will do a run-in, its the four year anniversary (i think, correct me if im wrong) of when she first turned heel. Intercontinental Championship Rob Van Dam vs. Randy Orton Orton via interfearance by Flair Batista vs. Shawn Michaels Although im a shawn fan here... im gonna go with Batista. Booker T vs. Mark Henry Oh boy this one should be a winner... note the sarcasm. I'm sorry, but i absolutly cannot stand Mark Henery. Im gonna have to go with Booker in this one. Chris Jericho\Christian vs. Trish Stratus\Lita Sad fact is that this is the match im looking forward to the most. I'm hoping the girls can actually show their stuff in this one, and it could be decent if kept short. Im hoping that Trish heels on Lita, like my friend Y2J said above. Ive been going for that for a long time. Tag Team Turmoil Dudleys vs. La Resistance vs. Jindrak/Cade vs. Hurricane/ Rosey vs. Storm/Venis vs. Test/Steiner I like Storm and Venis, but they proably wont win. I'm gonna go with La Resistance in this one. Im gonna add a match here: WWE Womens Championship Molly vs Victoria vs Jazz Why the hell hasnt there been a womens match added to the card? I wanna see this one. Proably wont happen, seeing as there would be no real angle or reason [b:post_uid0][/b:post_uid0]

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | World Heavyweight Title HHH vs Kane vs Goldberg Okay, this is just retarded. Instead of booking a match/angle between two powerhouses, WWE just had to throw in HHH. What a waste, ugh...I pick Goldberg with hesitation, because with all the surprises the RAW roster has been able to keep quiet, the surprise of the night could be Kane picking up the win. They just haven't booked this one well enough to make me care. Intercontinental Championship Rob Van Dam vs Randy Orton I'm going with RVD here, only to have Orton take the strap the next night on RAW. Batista vs Shawn Michaels I like the booking on this one. Common sense dictates HBK picks up the win, but I think they are looking to build Batista a bit more yet. In a close one, I call Batista. Booker T vs Mark Henry I actually don't think these guys would make a horrible team...but with that aside, I'm think Mark Henry gets the win. Jericho/Christian vs Trish/Lita I'd like to see this whole "Trish heeling" thing, but even better, I'd like to see Matt Hardy get involved, especially since he wasn't booked for the card. Anyone else sense possible heat between Christian & Hardy, with Christian using his favor to get Lita back? I don't know where that would go, but I pick Jericho/Christian. Tag Team Turmoil In a battle of "Teams I'd like to see drop off the face of the Earth"...Steiner/Test NO, Hurricane/Rosey NO, Storm/Venis NO...so with three teams left in contention, I choose Jindrak/Cade. They've seen a push similar to The Bashams, so I'll go out on a limb and pick them as new tag champs. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | World Heavyweight Championship - Goldberg (champion) vs. HHH vs. Kane I'm getting tired of Trips in every other main event, but hey at least he dosen't have the title. Because of his movie schedule Trips is out. It's a toss up for who will win, do you give the guy booked to be a maniac a significant title run? Or do you let the current champ keep it and exercise all his possible title fights? Hmmm, I wish Kane would win, but I doubt it. Winner: Goldberg Intercontinental Championship - Rob Van Dam (champion) vs. Randy Orton I feel RVD should keep it one more month before dropping the leather. However, beteween Orton's heel push and the fact he's with Evolution, he will most certanly take it. Winner: Randy Orton Batista vs. Shawn Michaels HBK is gonna put over Batista, and get his revenge on Raw, simple. Winner: Batista Booker T vs. Mark Henry I'm as much of a Mark Henry fan as the rest of you, but Mark Henry has just dominated Booker this whole fued. The WWE would be stupid to not let Booker "Overcome the World's Strongest Man" in grand fassion. Winner: Booker T Battle of the Sexes - Chris Jericho and Christian vs. Trish Stratus and Lita This is going to be one-sided as hell, but some how the women win. Winner: Trish and Lita Tag Team Turmoil for the World Tag Team Championship - Dudley Boyz (champions) vs. La Resistance vs. Jindrak & Cade vs. Hurricane & Rosey vs. Storm & Venis vs. Test & Steiner No lets break it down: Hurricane and Rosey are SNHeaters La Resistacne had the titles for awhile and were JUST added to the card Lance and Val were SNHeaters sepreatly and JUST became a Raw tag team. The only reason Test and Stiner are going to loose is because (like La Resistance) they were added to the card recently. It's a coin toss beteen The Dudleys and Jindrak and Cade (Flips Coin) Winner: Jindrak and Cade |

| When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. ...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. Luke 21:20-28 | ||

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | I am happy that HHH won. Goldberg losing the title is almost as good as Nathan Jones leaving the WWE. Now they just need to fire Goldberg. And as for Kane....... He still can't wrestle and his new gimmick reminds me of a retard more than anything else.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Well, Armageddon has come and gone. Not the most memorable PPV - but that can be blamed more on a lack of proper build-up than to WWE's usual shortcoming in PPV's: predictability. Booker T vs. Mark Henry was a decent match for both guys. However, we've seen it on Raw a few times since Survivor Series, so it's not exactly the kind of match that people were "dying" to see. Henry continued to be booked properly, though his ring work is still iffy. Booker got the receipt, which he desperately needed. So, in all, it was a fitting end (hopefully) to this feud. Orton vs. RVD went as I suspected. The match itself was decent, but a little slow for my liking. I doubt that this will be the end of this feud, since Orton got the nod, and WWE never books anything for RVD unless there's a title involved. The Battle of the Sexes match was somewhat surprisingly the highlight of the show. This match was booked perfectly. I was expecting a Trish heel turn, but it looks like Y2J will be making his face turn after all. This storyline is straight out of the ultra-cheesy teen flick "She's All That"...except Trish is hardly a dorky chick. Jericho makes a bet, gets to know Trish, falls for her, she finds out, he begs for forgiveness, and he finally wins her in the end. I'm just waiting for Freddie Prinze to make a cameo in this story line. Anyhow, excellent booking of Y2J, Trish, and Christian. Lita just kind of did her thing without a whole lot of emotion. More than anything, I'm glad that they didn't just kill off this storyline, since it has been one of the better things going on Raw lately, and it's the perfect vehicle for a Jericho face turn. HBK vs. Batista was actually a decent match. I'd venture to say I was right that it is the match of Batista's career thus far. For HBK, it was business as usual. For a guy whose career was "ended" a few years ago from a back injury, he can still impress. It's pretty apparent that Batista is moving on to other ventures after this PPV, so I'm interested to see what's in store for the Heartbreak Kid. Matt Hardy vs. Maven...on PPV?? I missed Heat, so I didn't expect this one to happen, but WTF? No heat going into it, or storyline. Fortunately, it wasn't really a match, since Batista annihilated the Mavester before the match started. V-1 had to get the bragging rights, which was all good and fine, but he deserves better than a pretend victory over Maven. The tag team turmoil match was thankfully booked to be a gauntlet rather than a cluster...you know what. The matches were pretty short, which I would normally think was bad, since the teams are made to look weak, but with 6 (eventually 7) teams involved, it kept this match from getting too dull. I did find it funny that the only teams with matching attire were La Resistance (first team out), Rosey & Hurricane (2nd team out), and the Dudleys. Everyone else just threw on whatever and went at it. Why is it, again, that the tag division gets no respect? Anyhow, it was pretty apparent that when Bischoff's music hit that he was going to screw the Dudley's, and Naitch gave it away when he was consoling Batista backstage that they were going to move in and take the belts. After this win, I cringed because I knew what the main event held in store... Molly vs. Ivory was a decent match that, again, had zero heat going into it. I know I said that it was a shame to keep Matt Hardy and Molly off of PPV, but throwing them into impromptu matches for kicks isn't the way to give them their just due. I'm big on Ivory's ring work, and wish she'd get some actual TV time, and Molly consistently delivers. No surprise that Molly retained, but I wish that they'd give her a contender while Trish & Lita are playing Days of Our Lives with Y2J & Christian. The World Title match was decent. I don't love Triple Threat matches, because they tend to be booked the same. Heel A and Heel B team up on Face C, until A pisses off B by trying to win the match, and all bets are off. The match then ends up being mostly A vs. C or B vs. C, with little action between all three except for the first 10 minutes. I thought with certainty that they'd keep the belt on Goldy going into the PPV, but, as I mentioned, after Evolution winning the I-C and Tag belts, I knew Haitch was going to take it. I did have a few hope spots for Kane, but, in the end, Hunter Hearst McMahon-Helmsley regained the title. The only thing notable about his victory is how they played up Kane's anger. Hopefully, he won't let it slide. As for Goldberg, I don't know what they have left for him to do. Smackdown desperately needs a fresh face - maybe he'll be traded. Overall, I liked Armageddon from the standpoint that it was booked well. The ring psychology was overall better than what WWE generally offers, and they progressed some key storylines while starting new ones. It does feel like there are a lot of loose ends after this PPV, which will be challenging for the Raw writers over the next month or two, but that also makes for compelling TV and increases interest (in my view). Hopefully, WWE will learn from its booking mistakes and plan ahead for all of the matches they want to put on the card ahead of time, rather than waiting until the day of the PPV to throw on a few matches, as the Hardy/Maven and Molly/Ivory matches were a waste.
