Sigh, I feel like I'm just repeating myself here. It would give him two chances to win the title. That way if he isn't successful tonight, it would still give him an opportunity for a one-on-one match at Mania. An even bigger incentive to in the Rumble, since recently the Rumble winner hasn't done jack **** at EC.

Still not a fan of that idea at all. The whole point of the Rumble was to give the winner a chance on "The biggest stage of them all". Giving them a title shot a month before at a B Class PPV kinda devalues the Rumble a bit if you ask me.

If it takes 2 goes to win a title then your not going to be a very credible champ.

If he won the title at EC, he would still go on to defend it at Mania in the main event. And how can you say that getting a title shot at the B PPV devalues the Rumble when there are 10 others who were in that Rumble receiving a shot at the title BEFORE the actual winner of the rumble. The whole premise of this PPV is honestly a joke if you're looking at it that way.

Yeah, because NOBODY has ever taken two tries to win a title. That literally happens all the time.

Some amazing pregame discussion going on here. Very impressive. You guys make these PPVs better for me to watch and participate live. I'm pumped I finally found a stream that works on my work pc so I can follow along on my laptop with the live discussion. In times past I would read the live discussion threads as I was watching ppvs. But it's just not the same.

I picked Ziggler to win for a couple reasons. I think Punk Jericho would be a fine feud without the title. Plus Sheamus can go against Ziggler at Mania. Raw ratings keep slipping and were under 3 on their go home show so I wouldnt be surprised if Vince isn't ready to try something totally different.

You heard it here first. Haha

I also think its a slam dunk that Christian somehow takes Santinos spot.

But then whats the point of him winning the rumble match then winning the title at EC? Defeats the whole purpose of why the Rumble was set up in the first place. Also not that getting a title shot devalues the rumble but rather the RR winner getting a title shot devalues the match and makes it less important because it takes away it's main reason. That reason being that the Winner gets a shot at "the biggest stage of them all". Other guys being in the match makes sense because you can see it as them staking their claim and trying to make sure they book their spot whereby the Rumble winner has already earned his spot. It's all about trying to make the match feel as big as possible and giving him a shot at the PPV before Mania just doesn't have the same feeling.

Any word on Christian and Alberto Del Rio's injuries, and how they're recovering? I don't think Santino will be entering the Elimination Chamber, I think one of the two will take his spot ala Jericho.

I am looking foward to the World Heavyweight Elimination Chamber match the most. I don't see him Bryan losing the title right now but I can't figure out how he is going to win.
