WWE PPV Schedule 2012

Sports Business Daily has released the latest list of WWE PPVs with the dates they are scheduled to take place. WWE will see a three week cycle four times during the year, with back to back cycles in September, October and November. Of course by then the B shows are expected to have migrated to the WWE network so the buyrate will be much less important at that point, at least in theory.
Here is the current listing of shows with their dates.

-- Jan. 30: Royal Rumble
-- Feb. 19: Elimination Chamber
-- Apr. 1: WrestleMania 28
-- Apr. 29: Extreme Rules
-- May 20: Over the Limit
-- June 17: Bragging Rights (replacing Capitol Punishment)
-- July 15: Money in the Bank
-- Aug. 19: Summerslam
-- Sept. 16: Night of Champions
-- Oct. 7: Hell in a Cell
-- Oct. 28: Vengeance
-- Nov. 18: Survivor Series
-- Dec. 16: TLC

Looks like Bragging Rights is back, I guess it makes more sense having it in June just after the draft, in the only few months where the draft is takien semi seriously.

Like most things involving the brand split, Bragging Rights sucks because WWE have made an awful job in the last 6 years of making the brand split mean anything.

Exactly. What's the point of a draft or Bragging Rights if they're going to continue with the supershows?

2 they could easily get rid of are Bragging Rights and Vengeance. Push Extreme Rules back a week or so, Over the Limit back to mid June and Hell in a Cell back to mid October.

The supershows will stop at around the same time of the draft, like they do every year.

Well instead of ONLY mentioning the bad, at least they made the right move in if having Bragging Rights, the best time to have it would be post-draft and more importantly, not right next to Survivor Series.

Especially if they continue with the elimination match, it made Survivor Series seem less important.

Exactly. Good decision here, imo. Now if only they treated the brand separation more meaningfully and everything would rule.

Yeh I don't get particularly why they are carrying on with the Supershow, should really be a two way street. But I thought that looked like a good line up, I enjoy Bragging Rights.

Night of Champions, Vengeance, and HIAC again have three weeks to be promoted. The sad part is that people are still buying the three PPVs too.

That's actually an improvement to two weeks they've done before. Factor in one or two will be on the WWE Network, and suddenly it's not so bad, is it?
