I still think the lack of blood can be a problem, especially with so many shots to the head, but the visible damage done to Cena certainly made up for it somewhat, as well as the brutality of the finish, which was reminiscent of Cena/Umaga. I was afraid Orton would look terrible saying "I Quit" with no blood on his face, but when you're getting choked out with a chain, it's understandable I'd say.
Matches like this would definitely be better with blading. There's no getting around that. However, I think WWE need a great job here without the use of blood and if you accept the match for what it was, it was very good.
What I liked about this PPV was the uniqueness of it. The DX/Legacy and Cena/Orton matches were not only very good, but I can't think of anything else that was anything like either of them. Obviously the Punk/Taker finish was also memorable.
Good stuff overall.

I will say this, DX/Legacy has been a great feud thus far.
Indeed. The Summerslam match was very good and DX made it look like Legacy could easily have pulled it out, and this match just made Legacy so much more credible. It was a very unique match and despite the fact that it was 2 on 1 for the finish. Legacy looked great. They certainly don't look like jobbers anymore. You don't wanna mess with those guys, even without Orton.

Good PPV, aside of my stream shitting out on my a few times.
DX/Legacy match was awesome. I love when they do backstage stuff. I was probably the only guy who wanted HHH to save HBK from the submission. It was pretty brutal when they were beating on HHH in the back, some of those shots looked pretty legit. Cena/Orton was awesome. I loved all the ways Orton got Cena with the handcuffs. I thought Cena could have dealt a little more punishment, but I liked the ending. I'm pretty excited for their HIAC match. Punk/Taker sucked, and my hatred toward Punk grows. It wasn't even a fun match to watch, let alone good. The screwjob was a good ending, because it made everyone still look decent, but it didn't make up for the rest of the match. Solid PPV though, I think these gimmick PPV's will turn out better than the regular PPV's that would have happened. Looking forward to the Hell in a Cell PPV.

I'll give my quick opinions on this PPV. I didn't catch a stream and instead downloaded torrents Cena/Orton, Punk/Taker, DX/Legacy.
Punk/Taker:
I liked how this match began. Punk's psychology in the way that he approached fighting Taker was spot on to what I'd expect if wrestling were ahem real. For what this match was, it wasn't bad. A lot of people are going to complain that it didn't love up to what they expected, but keep in mind it is a set up for a much bigger match. Reserve judgment on the pairing until the Hell In A Cell encounter.
The two main things I think should have gone down differently are first the Hell's Gate. I will give them props for digging back to some old storylines, something they rarely do. But with the Montreal Screwjob finish, the Hell's Gate was not necessary. The Montreal Screwjob finish insinuates Taker got screwed which gives them an angle to some how set up a rematch. Screwing him once before hand accomplished nothing.
The screwjob ending was a good ending, but it came across as poorly produced. They could have orchestrated it better with Teddy not coming out earlier (IE the Hell's Gate never happened) and instead he comes to ringside and signals for the ref to make the call. Not to nitpick, but it would have made much more sense for Vince to be the one to screw Taker.
DX VS Legacy
I skipped through this match which was unfortunate as I heard it was good. I watched the final few minutes. The execution was great. With Legacy winning, this match should have CLOSED THE SHOW. With this being the first edition of Breaking Point the Main Event is absolutely detrimental to the show. The other submission match (Punk/Taker) ended in a Screw Job. People aren't going to order the PPV next year if the memory fresh in their mind was that faces don't tap unless there is an overbooked finish which isn't worth seeing in the first place. Legacy beating DX clean in the Main Event would have sold the PPV off as a big deal because these two young heels just beat two of the top faces in the company via submission.
Cena VS Orton
I'm not big on Orton's "methodical" (Keyword very slow) style. I will admit, it worked perfectly for this match. They told a great story with Orton using borderline torture tactics on a bound and gagged Cena. Cena got pushed to his edge and proved that he wouldn't quit. The finish with Orton attempting to grab the key was great, and the crowd added a ton to the match. Not a match of the year candidate by any stretch, but easily worth seeing if you have the time.

As much as I hate Cena, that was a great match with Orton, and thank god Legacy finally won. It was weird and cool not to see Triple H win a match. I also loved when Dolph was talking and the fans shouted "Shut the Fuck Up", that was awesome. It was like it was 2002 again.
I too critiqued Orton's style but it worked excellently last night, right on destoryer.
Pretty much everything was good or at least memorable, as Tom said. A lot of unique spots and fun moments. Miz/Kofi Yay/Boos kicks were cool for a mid card match with little hype.
