Make no mistake - The Miz is a changed man these days, and not just with regards to his ring attire. Though he has worn gold around his waist before, his past demeanor has been ... well, somewhat juvenile. Yet ever since he earned his way out of an imposed, albeit brief, exile from Raw last August, The Miz has transformed himself into a focused ring competitor who must be taken far more seriously. Anyone who has done otherwise has paid for their mistake in defeat.

Of course, Kofi Kingston is not to be taken lightly, either. One could even consider it somewhat ironic that one of the most successful United States Champions in recent years has been The Jamaican Superstar. His reign has endured the likes of Six Pack Challenges, 7-foot, 485-pound monsters, arrogant All-American Americans and past United States titleholders - no small accomplishments, in any sense of the word. If anything, one could argue that Kingston seems to elevate his game and thrive when the challenge is greater and the odds are stacked against him - something The Miz would do well to remember at WWE Breaking Point this Sunday.

The Miz, United States Champion. John Morrison, Intercontinental Champion. Make it happen.

I want Miz to win, but it would be a bit random for Kofi to lose after the past month with all these defenses.

For a quality heel vs spotty babyface match, this sounds better than Dolph/Morrison. Doubt it will be given much time though.

It won't considering how late it was on getting on the card. This makes PPV probably so The Miz can win.

This almost doesn't seem PPV worthy considering how shitty these guys, along with every other RAW midcarder, is booked. At least a PPV match should help both guys' credibility somewhat, provided this turns into an actual feud. I'm sick of random Kofi defences.

Ideally I'd have Kofi retain here so they can build a feud, but Miz winning wouldn't be bad either.

Hrmmm i really like the idea of what Ken said. Morrison as IC champ and the Miz as US champ that could really be something lol but Morrison has his own feud with Doplh Ziggler. I see Miz winning this match though they probably put this on the card to pass the title to Miz but yea i agree its pretty random win because Kofi has a whole bunch of title defenses against most of the U.S division so i don't think Miz's look will look credible.

RAW don't know what the hell they're doing, they created a fued between Swagger & MVP so it would've made sense for one of them to win it (Swagger as he's the heel) before their PPV match last month but they decided to throw MVP in a makeshift tag team and not deal with Swagger for the moment. This match has had next to no, if any, build up at all.

Kofi has been a pretty worthless US champion, as he was IC & Tag. The match and the outcome is pointless without it having sufficient build. I'd much rather see a short, spot heavy match between these two than Morrison/Ziggler. Kofi is easily the better of the two bland babyface midcard champions.

Hopefully they have Kofi retain here & then build up a storyline between him & the Miz & have the Miz win the title at the next PPV or something. I know a lot of people here would prefer the Miz to win but him winning right now would seem pretty damn random IMO. Rather he won after giving the matchup some build.

I flipped between thing it was a really good match, to thinking it was one of the sloppiest matches I'd ever seen. Turns out that Kofi & The Miz are only as popular as the wrestlers they're facing and with a lesser opponent nobody's that intrested in them.

Too many near falls, which wouldn't have been too bad if Cole hadn't made out that every single one (all 30 plus) would result in the end of the match.

With the time they were given they could've had Morrison vs. Ziggler instead. Not that I care about either match too much.
