Well, The Game & HBK are determined to pluck that thorn once and for all at WWE Breaking Point – in the first-ever Submissions Count Anywhere Match.

It’s understood by all combatants that there will be many firsts come WWE Breaking Point, the first-ever event of its kind that pushes WWE Superstars to their very limits. But for DX and Legacy, it will also be a first time that one member from these tag teams will tap out and submit to their opponents - a fate both sides must consider worse than the traditional pinfall defeat.

At SummerSlam, Triple H & Michaels were geared for war with Rhodes & DiBiase, even riding out to ringside on a tank. But The Legacy was also prepared, countering every salvo DX could throw at them until some arguably desperate Sweet Chin Music from HBK brought a decisive end to the conflict – at least on that night.

However, if there's one trait that Rhodes & DiBiase have inherited from respective fathers Dusty Rhodes and The Million Dollar Man, it’s dogged determination. WWE Champion Randy Orton may have fostered that attribute into something overly antagonistic, but Rhodes & DiBiase have since taken it to extremes, especially where The King of Kings & The Showstopper have been concerned.

Though not victorious at SummerSlam, the diabolical duo has certainly achieved its fair share of success against DX before and following The Biggest Event of the Summer. On Raw, while triple-teaming Orton’s opponent for WWE Breaking Point, John Cena, Rhodes & DiBiase – aided by the WWE Champion and Special Guest Host Dusty Rhodes – foiled a DX rescue attempt and left The Game & HBK tasting canvas.

At WWE Breaking Point, though, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase won’t care where Triple H & Shawn Michaels fall; a Submissions Count Anywhere Match means precisely that. Whether inside the ring, on the outside floor, in the stands of Montreal’s Molson Center or beyond, Legacy’s sole objective will be to force D-Generation X into submission – a "d-feat" that could symbolically forever "d-rail" D-Generation X.

From what i heard, their match at SS was good, so i expect nothing less. I am hoping that Legacy get a clean win in this match. If young stard are to be established, then they need to start winning imo. The only problem with this match is I dont think any of them have a submission in their arsenal as of now. (i know that HHH used the indian deathlock, but that was ages ago).

Pretty worthless stipulation. It's falls count anywhere, but with submissions only. I always thought the idea of a falls count anywhere was to beat somebody up so badly that they can't move. If they can't move then they can't submit.

First of all, I assumed only the World Title matches were submission rules at Breaking Point, so what the hell?

Secondly, their Summerslam match was indeed very good. It wasn't GREAT, but it exceeded my expectations and for this reason left me very pleased. Also it was a very good match in its own right. They really made Legacy look good to the extent that it wasn't obvious who was going to come out on top, and the finish didn't hurt Legacy at all.

Thirdly, I am not happy about a rematch simply because I don't see Legacy winning, and losing a 2nd time won't do them any favours, even if they're made to look credible again. On the other hand, it should be a good match and there is always a slight chance they will pull out a win somehow. The build on RAW was good too.

This should be good. The idea of a submission (or knockout, realistically) anywhere is pretty cool. Maybe we'll get some shenanigans.

Yeah I forgot to mention that lol. Should be an interesting one. I don't think it will match their Summerslam match because I expect a load of BS.

Probably not. It could be a complete burial for all we know but I'm hoping for something good.

I don't think they'd bury them after the Summerslam match, because it'd be a waste of all the work that was put into making them look good then. It's not just that match either, it's the beatdowns. Legacy in general are just looking a lot more credible the last few weeks.
