I agree. Some of the mid card matches wouldn't even make sense if they were HIAC, unless it was a four way for the US belt, but that could just as easily be on Raw or something. Either way, HIAC is gonna suck.
I don't think anybody thinks EVERY match is going to be HIAC...that's pretty damn obvious.
I mean, will both the WWE and WH title matches be HIAC, or just one of them?
Either way, the downside of this sure to be epic feud is that Punk will probably be losing the belt within the next couple of months. Not a fan of the hot-potatoing that's been going on and I think that, although Taker is the height of credibility, it won't help Punk at all to once again lose the belt that quickly.
One more question: Can you get DQ'd in a submission match? I always assumed you could but my friend has other ideas.

This being a submission match adds nothing to the match. Would love to see Taker win but I doubt very much that'll happen. And people saying it's a dream match, lol.
I didn't mean it like a submission match between the two is a dream match. I meant it more vaguely like just the two having a match in general is a dream match for me. I've always wanted to see the two interact in a match together.
Anyways, I think this is gonna be a great match.

Why not? Just because neither Punk or Rey wrestle or are of a similar size to former competitors in Hell In A Cell matches, it doesn't mean they wouldn't be able to put on a quality match. They'd do more than Orton or Triple H would.

Because it's not realistic? Rey isn't the type who'd wrestle in the brutal match and Punk wouldn't be constantly ducking Rey so the HIAC would be pointless. It at least makes some sense with Taker..

Rey isn't the type who'd wrestle in the brutal match and Punk wouldn't be constantly ducking Rey so the HIAC would be pointless.
Well it'll be the Smackdown main event, so you can guarantee that it won't be as brutal as the Raw main event anyway. Nor will it be particularly brutal because of the PG rating.
Punk is also still likely to duck whoever he faces, most heels do. The story could be that Punk keeps getting counted out and Rey frequently jumps from the ring to the outside on his opponent. It could easily be a gimmick to give both a disadvantage.
But considering WWE is having a couple of Hell In A Cell matches there doesn't need to be any real purpose to the matches, just like there wasn't when there were two Elimination Chamber matches at No Way Out.
