For me, i first thought "Oh, how awesome, we got nothing but submission matches", then I heard Vince announce the "I Quit" Match, and I got pretty bumbed out. I thought it would be the one night that "Real Wrestling" was going to have to be used.
However, I think about it, when they shout "I Quit" they are submitting, so i am now pondering the facts at hand. Wht should a submission PPV be? I would love to see people like Regal who are chain wrestlers shine, but that doesnt look like it is going to hppen.
Now that i think of it, how many real submission people do we have in WWE? Maybe a handfull if you count Cena with his STF move.
My Predictin is that Breaking Point is going to bomb.

I don't think WWE will give it the label of ''submission PPV'', so I think it'll just as well/poorly as Unforgiven used to.
If they did make it all submission then it would bomb. The wrestlers who use submissions would have their matches finish in the same way they usually do. Others would have to use something that they don't usually use and they'd end up looking awkward in the process.
Then you've got somebody like Jericho who does have a submission move, but it's weak and doesn't make hardly anybody give up.

I don't exactly know what to expect, but I'm hoping for the best. When I first heard the concept, I thought it was pretty dumb honestly. A submission themed PPV? If your going to go with a gimmick PPV, at least choose something interesting. Any given match could end in submission, so what makes this so special? meh...I'll let it play out. The I quit match is actually relieving.

The matches announced so far aren't bad. I still don't like the general concept, and I don't like how it looks like Punk will lose the title since I can't see WWE having Undertaker submit to the Anaconda Vise.

I think the card is pretty great and I don't mind this gimmick PPV (TLC and HIAC on the other hand..) but I do agree it looks all but guaranteed Punk will be losing the belt..Unless their is DQ in the submission match.
