Quote:
Less than 24 hours after Randy Orton squeezed out a victory in Los Angeles at SummerSlam, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon announced that the WWE Champion would again defend his title against John Cena at WWE Breaking Point, except this time in an “I Quit” Match.
This declaration didn’t come out of thin air though, as just before The Chairman made his entrance, Orton and The Legacy revealed that the “fan” who interfered the previous night at SummerSlam was actually Ted DiBiase’s brother Brett.
Although The Legend Killer claims that he had no prior knowledge of Brett’s attack, he did reiterate for Cena that he was still champion. This didn’t seem to sit too well with Mr. McMahon.
So, whether Orton knew the younger DiBiase was at ringside or not doesn’t matter now, as at Breaking Point, it will be an “I Quit” Match between The Viper and the 12 Rounds star. The added stipulation is if anyone attempts to interfere in the match on The Legend Killer's side, Orton will be stripped of his title. The WWE Champion will have no underhanded tactics that will be able to get him out of this one.
In reality, there will be only one Superstar walking out of Montreal as WWE Champion, and that man will be the one who can take his opponent to the limit, inflict as much damage on them as possible and send them past their Breaking Point.
Who will be the one uttering the dreaded words “I Quit”? The only way to find out is by tuning into WWE Breaking Point emanating from the Bell Centre in Montreal on Sunday, Sept. 13, live on pay-per-view.

Should be good if there's no BS. Would obviously be better if it wasn't for the PG Rating, as I believe I Quit falls under the category of matches that pretty much need blood to tell a good story and be believable. That said, I'm sure they can work around it and make it decent at worst.
I expect Cena to pick up the win.

Big Dick Johnson isn't very TV-PG..
I think this has potential, but I don't know if Orton or Cena should be quitting.. it just doesn't fit either man's personality right now in their current character. I guess they could do something screwy but I don't know. I'm gonna pick Cena at the moment.

Definitely fits Orton's considering what a bitch he's been the last few months.

Considering Cena's motto is "Never back down from a fight, never quit" I'm gonna say that Cena will pick up the win. I just hope they give Orton some kind of momentum going into this match, so maybe I'll be stumped on who's going to win a couple days beforehand. I would rather this be a last man standing match, though. At least we could see what we would have saw two years ago.

Right..ok, so outsmarting everyone on the roster is 'being a bitch'.. gotcha. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

So three guys being pwnt by Shane McMahon (who is a non wrestler) isn't being booked weak or bitch like? Or what about when Ric Flair (a 60 year old man who is way past his prime) owned a man who is not only 30 years younger, but is also the "top guy of the company"? Or what about when Triple H returned and hit Cody and Ted with a sledgehammer to the guts, and were immediately "knocked out" and then Orton got beat down? Those situations aren't considered weak?

No. First of all, the term 'weak' is thrown around on these forums far too often and most of the time, the gripe doesn't fit the situation that the person is alluding to.
For the most part.. Shane was attacking them from behind or with weapons and Orton even gave a reasoning as to why they didn't kick his ass the first night he showed his face.
HHH is HHH. He's going to have the upper hand a lot of the time, but even so.. sledgehammer shots aren't exactly something people should be jumping up within three seconds after being hit. Let us not forget how Legacy pwned HHH a couple weeks back and then pwned HBK/HHH last week. They also had a competitive match with them at SummerSlam, but this isn't about Legacy anyway.
Ric Flair will always being the 'dirtiest player in the game' and cheat to get the upper hand on someone which is exactly what he did with Orton. Some may not like it.. but you know what, I didn't like Hogan beating HBK at SummerSlam a few years back either.. I don't like it when any old timer gets the best of a younger wrestler but how can they change that? It's what 99% of the audience wants to see. Just because some people on the internet hate it doesn't mean it's going away. People like to see Hogan and Flair kick ass and to me, it didn't deflate Orton's run at all.
Orton is a made man in the company. He does whatever the fuck he wants and usually gets away with it. He says what he wants in interviews.. he's not going away. He's going to main event Wrestlemania after Wrestlemania for years to come.. so I don't quite get this "he's ruined" approach that many take on the subject.
He's done his fair share of damage.. he's the champion. He's outsmarted HHH, Cena, and put Batista, Flair, and the entire McMahon family on the shelf. What more do you want?

Like that three on one handicap match where Shane was dominating the three of them til the very end? He didn't use weapons or attack them from behind. This is the main incident that I'm referring to.

How did Flair cheat? He used his damn hands the entire time and kicked Orton's ass all over the arena until Legacy came in. Which leads me to another point, the man needs two other guys to get a 60 year old man off him. Legacy has constantly had to save his ass in numerous situations and has won him his matches plenty of times.
Not only has Orton had to have Cody and Ted win his matches for him, he's also had to DQ himself, get counted out and has run away from his opponents for the past 4 or 5 months. I have never seen a heel do these things as much as Orton does. People can say that it's his "cowardly heel character", but I have never seen a cowardly heel run away so much in my life. Until last night when he overcame the obstacles that Vinman threw at him. (Off topic, but brilliant booking by the 'E.)

I never said this has ruined Orton. Many believe that, I'm not sure why considering he is still very young and still has a alot left to do in the WWE. I just dislike with the way he was booked this feud, is all.
