After emerging victorious from a brutal Extreme Rules Match against Tommy Dreamer, Christian thought his ECW Championship was safe, when he appeared as a guest on “The Abraham Washington Show.” But after defending the ECW Original to the brash talk-show host, Captain Charisma was introduced to the recently named No. 1 contender, William Regal.

The arrogant Brit clearly stated his intention to send the ECW Champion a message by running roughshod over Christian’s friend Dreamer. Regal made good on his promise, going so far as to place the ECW Original in the Regal Stretch after the bell had been rung, luring the ECW Champion to come to Dreamer’s defense.

Christian has shown his willingness to go the extra mile and put his body at extreme risk in defense of the ECW Title, but the sadistic William Regal presents a wholly new threat to Captain Charisma’s title reign. Will Christian be able to put his arrogant opponent in his place, or will Regal leave SummerSlam with his first-ever ECW Championship?

Should be a quality match, depending on the lenght. But I'm not expecting the fans in attendance to care to much about it.

Should be intresting with Regal's new alliance. He'll look weak if he loses by pinfall and he get's help off Jackson & Kozlov. I'll predict a DQ finish.

I don't expect Kozlov or Jackson to get involved in this. I just hope they get at least 10+ minutes to put on the quality match that these two can do. I'm anticipating this match, which is probably going to be the curtain jerker, more than the Raw world title match.

If given enough time this match could be very good. Can't wait to see it. Glad it got added to the card.

Shame Kane/Khali was added and will take time away from potentially very good matches like this and MVP/Swagger. Oh well, can't have it all.

Obviously this will be very good if it's given time. Christian has been on fire since his return and I'm looking forward to seeing him work with Regal on PPV.

Christian FTW, potential to be an epic match cannot see them giving Regal the title now since Christian's just got it back so Captain Charisma should retain. A 15 minute match between them two would be dick in hand but with the card stacked I doubt we'll see it

It'll be a good sub-10 minute match, hopefully they have a rematch on ECW with more time.

The card for Summerslam minus Kane/Khali is pretty awesome. This being added makes it even better.

I'm so glad they've gone with Regal over Kozlov or another Dreamer encounter.

I'm hoping we never see Christian vs. Dreamer again on PPV. Kozlov would be decent. This has way more potential though.
