Considering how much hype they seem to be putting on the Dolph/Maria relationship, I have this HORRIBLE feeling she's going to end up involved in it in some way.
I was expecting her to get involved in the NOC match. Wouldn't be surprised if she did get involved in this match though & helped Dolph win. Still should be a good match none the less.

I was wrong when I said I didn't think Ziggler would make it on the card. I thought Rey would face a bigger opponent. I like Ziggler, but I think he's a ''B'' show wrestler at this point. This looks like an underwhelming match for SummerSlam. But those shows have been underwhelming for years so I'm just expecting too much.
I disagree, but I also thought Mysterio would be facing someone else at Summerslam. JoMo's been PPV AWOL for months now, and his push is going well. An IC Title match with Rey would've been great for him, and would've helped give him a rub.
I was expecting her to get involved in the NOC match. Wouldn't be surprised if she did get involved in this match though & helped Dolph win. Still should be a good match none the less.
I really don't see a Maria heel turn. She's way too cutesy for it. I don't think it'd work. If she's involved at all, it'll be like the Finlay match where she was concerned about Dolph and he took advantage of the gentlemanly effort by Fit to not attack while she was nearby.
I also don't get why people think their NOC match was disappointing. I loved it. It's one of my favourite matches in WWE this year.

Didn't see what happened on SD between Finlay & Dolph but that sounds like the kind of thing i was thinking of her doing. I don't see her getting involved in a way that is heelish but rather where she is trying to take care of Dolph & inadvertently helps him win the title.

Yeah, that was basically it. Dolph went down outside and Maria went to check on him. Finlay turned to the ref to get him to remove her and Ziggler jumped him from behind.

To me what happened on Smackdown seemed to suggest Maria will be staying a face, playing the victim role, with Dolph treating her badly to get heel heat and her eventually leaving him. They had Melina pretty much warn Maria that Dolph isn't a nice guy.

Yeah the use her as a shield type thing is another thing i thought the WWE may do to get Dolph the title. would make sense without having her turn heel.

I hope they take it that step further though and build it like I suggested a few weeks ago. They've already slipped in the "He's not like that when it's just us" comment, all they need to do know is build it nice and slow, until Maria leaves him and he slowly turns face, becoming the better man to get back with the girl... And win the IC Title (for possibly the second time).

I'm still not seeing why you want him turned face. He plays the arrogant, self-assured heel perfectly. Turning him face anytime soon could ruin his career.
