Quote:
Two of the most lethal Divas in WWE will once again clash for the gold when Women’s Champion Michelle McCool attempts to defend her title against Melina at Night of Champions. Their second struggle for Diva dominance over all Friday night threatens to reach an even greater level of intensity than their previous battle at The Bash.
Since carrying the coveted Women’s gold to SmackDown as part of the 2009 WWE Draft, Melina has been on an absolute tear, kicking her supremely aggressive style into high gear as she acquaints herself with the smart, sexy, and powerful Divas of Friday night. Her unrelenting assault inside the squared circle commands both respect and fear from any Diva that has the nerve to face her.
But the ruthless McCool refused to make way for the new Friday night arrival. Instead, she sharpened her already legendary mean streak and honed her dangerous ability to work outside the rules. Michelle used these attributes and more, ultimately reigning supreme over Melina at The Bash to become the first Diva to capture both the Divas and Women’s Titles. Despite the nature of her tactics, no one can deny that the vicious beauty found a way to win in the only singles encounter between the two fierce Divas since Melina’s emergence on SmackDown.
Melina has since fired back with two convincing victories over Michelle and her partner in tag team action, making it very clear to the champion and the WWE Universe that she has every intention of getting her title back. From the moment she charges down the red carpet, the stunning Diva is the very essence of wild, unbridled determination. Her fierce nature and razor-sharp agility make her a nearly unstoppable threat anytime she splits her way into the ring. And with this new challenge before her, she seems even more intense than ever.
The first showdown between Melina and Michelle at The Bash turned into an absolutely explosive encounter. It could, however, prove merely a prelude to the intense storm that is looming on the horizon.
Don’t miss your chance to see Night of Champions, Sunday, July 26, only on pay-per-view.

As if they're first match wasn't bad enough, they're having another.
Seriously, this match will get 5 minutes, and the Divas title will rightfully get more time, because of the hype/feud. I'm looking forward to Mickie/Maryse far more than Michelle/Melina. Funny how Melina is the one attacking and getting momentum when she doesn't have the title. Melina will job, though I wouldn't put it past her to win the title only to drop it to Michelle again so Michelle can beat Trishes record. Speaking of one of the most overrated Divas ever, anybody see a hint of Trish possibly returning when Michelle just happened to 'forget' her name? Michelle/Trish at SummerSlam, maybe? I'm going off topic. But lets hope Melina doesn't oversell in this match, stops the screaming, and Michelle (if retaining) does the Clash properly. I'm not expecting much. For two good workers, they didn't half put on a crappy match at The Bash.

With the Womens title on Smackdown the prestige of the belt has gone to shame. Its just sad to see a good feud (Maryse vs Mickie) being wasted on the Divas title when IMO they shouldve kept the Womens on RAW and Divas on SD

Yeah, I agree actually. Michelle/Melina has been a worthless feud, i'm grateful for a feud though, it's just not been that good. If you look on the bright-side though, I mean the Divas title had next to no prestige at all, now look; it has two women fighting for it, and has been given an almost two month long feud. If anything, the Divas title has gotton more prestigious thanks to Mickie and Maryse.
As for the womens title, i'm starting to think people care less and less about it now. Michelle and Melinas feud has been lack-luster, and has been weird in terms of booking. They should have had Melina get the upper-hand prior losing her title, but eh, looks like Michelle win retain. Hopefully this will be the first match on the card so we can get it over and done with. Mickie vs Maryse ftw.

Re: WWE Night of Champions - Women's Champion Michelle McCool vs. Melina
Every feud involving McCool is just an excuse for her to bury somebody at the Undertaker's request, giving the illusion that she is actually decent at something. She's terrible in every way and wouldn't get near the title if it wasn't for her boyfriend. If I was Melina I'd fucking hate her.

Maybe she does, would explain the overselling at The Bash To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
But with McCool and politics, the only part I just can't seem to wrap my mind around is Taker allowing it. Taker has spoken about politics in several interviews, and has made it clear that he hates it. I've read/see countless interviews where wrestlers have spoken about Takers view on politics, and they've also made it clear he's not in favor of it, he never has been. I can't understand why Taker would allow his girlfriend to get away with it, or even politic on behalf of her.

Maybe he's just a hypocrite? Seems like it to me. There is no other logical explanation for them pushing his girl so hard considering she isn't what they normally look for in a diva, and gets no reaction, even if you think she's a good wrestler (which I don't). I don't really understand why it's such a big deal to him and her that she is overprotected to such a great extent. Melina hasn't even pinned her in this whole feud. She is a heel, yet she will go over clean again here. Ridiculous.
I'm convinced they even did the draft the way they did to get the credible face (Gail) away from McCool. Now McCool can just defend against Eve and Maria after burying Melina, and therefore Smackdown can remain the McCool show for a long time.

A guy will change his personal views on any subject for a decent blowjob. Maybe McCool is good at something after all, and look at that, it's a kind of "job".
