I don't read the spoilers so I don't know about next week lol. But yeah, his heel turn seems close to being the 360, especially after his drug reference; 'Just say No' anyone? When I can think about it, SummerSlam is just wayy too far away, two months nearly, and by then people will be getting bored with his character if he's hanging between face and heel. He just needs to do something huge which will clarify everything and make it seem obvious to casuals he's a heel, he'll probably attack Jeff or something at the PPV, or cheaply retain his title.
Yeah, don't wanna give to much away about next weeks SD but Punk pretty much takes that reference a lil further and it makes him seem like even more a heel. I can pretty see the heel turn being finalise either the week before NOC, At NOC or the SD after.

Re: WWE Night of Champions - World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
Considering Edge is out now, and Jericho is really the only solid heel, I don't think they have much of a choice but to turn Punk heel. And if Jeff is leaving, that's a big if, then Taker needs to get his ass back on Smackdown because they won't really have a 'top' face.

This match will probably signal Punk's full heel turn, which would make a gimmick match all the better. This is also the opportunity to build on guys like Finlay, Dolph Ziggler, and the Hart Dynasty. They are losing power face.

A buddy of mine went to a Smackdown like two weeks ago, and he said the crowd didn't cheer or boo Punk. There was like, no reaction at all =\
It's probably the case of the fans not knowing whether they wanna cheer or boo the guy.
Anyway, they need to add a gimmick to this match. It's the only way I can see it being any good.
I dunno. I know the Bash match wasn't great but it didn't get too long and was more about the Punk heel turn situation than anything. Now Punk is firmly established as a heel, I can see them having a better match than last time. A gimmick would be nice, but I think it would make sense to save that until Summerslam. This feud needs to continue past The Bash imo. If Hardy is leaving WWE, Punk needs to be the guy to kick him out.
As for the fans not reacting, they've definitely been booing him these last couple of weeks. His heat could be insane if he really did retire Jeff.

Obviously you posted this before this week's Smackdown, but if there was any doubt about Punk's status as a heel, there isn't now. Hopefully he goes over Hardy using some heel move again, resulting in a cage match booked for Summerslam. That's how I'd go about it.

Re: WWE Night of Champions - World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
I would actually be shocked if Hardy doesn't go over here. I think the main purpose of this feud, like others, is to turn Punk into a full-blown heel. But, I don't see how that can happen unless he cheats to take the belt from Hardy at Summerslam (which would more than likely be Hardy's last match in WWE for the time being). Of course, there's always the option of having Punk cheat in this match-up to beat Hardy and then have them face each other one more time at Summerslam, with Punk going over once again, but I think a win here for Punk would really kill this feud's momentum. So, I see Hardy taking the belt and dropping it right back to Punk next month.
Re: WWE Night of Champions - World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
I think it's much more likely that Punk will retain through less than honourable methods and then face John Morrison on SmackDown (as Teddy promised), with Jeff coming out afterwards and challenging Punk to a match at Summerslam that, if Jeff lost, would mean the end of his WWE career.
The current build on SmackDown has me well and truely of the feeling that JoMo will be facing Punk after NOC, so for that to happen Punk has to win here.

WWE should promote a Loser Leaves Town match between the two at SummerSlam. It hasn't been done in so long it'll probably excite more people than two Elimination Chambers do.

I don't see Hardy winning this match. Well, he might win it but by DQ or something like that. If he does win it will be in a way that Punk cheats and still keep the title. It would be nice if they did something creative in this match. Either ways, I think Punk is going to be keeping his title.
