Yeah well they've had him going with Jeff, and Jeff is obviously the more popular and they've turned on Punk thanks to how he was being positioned by the 'E. This is one of their better turns.
SmackDown!'s quality viewing just about every week, so I'd recommend watching it. Much more entertaining than RAW.
Yeah true i guess & i know i really should watch SD more often. For some reason Raw is the worst show of the three but yet its the only one i find myself watching on a weekly basis >_>

lol I'm the same. It's partly because its on a Monday and partly because its live and has always been marketed as the A Show I guess.
Smackdown is definitely miles better and this feud is one of the examples why.

Re: WWE Night of Champions - World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
It seemed like they where holding back at The Bash, so hopefully Punk/Jeff is alot better this time. They have the chemistry, and a nice storyline going on, i'm curious as to whether they'll push Punk a few more degrees towards being full blown heel, or save it til Summerslam. Either way, a great match for the card. I guess this means Orton vs ? is going to main event.

For an odd reason I feel CM Punk is not really a heel. I just think hes confused , like last night on SD I heard boo's the most but I heard a lot of cheers. Maybe hes just being neutral...

Like previously said in the thread they are just working into it. Slowly, but surely.
Refreshing though to work into something, and have it mean something. Pretty awesome to see the transformation from face to tweener to heel.

Re: WWE Night of Champions - World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
Punk's heel turn isn't fully there yet. He doing some heel things, yet at the same time he's using the audience like a face (if that makes any sense at all).
The only way i see a full heel turn happening is if Punk is getting beat (a lot like how he was at The Bash) then decides "Screw it!" and grabs a chair. Next, he could seem like he's confused as to why he has the chair. The ref takes the chair from him, he takes it back, and whacks the crap out of Hardy and stands over his body with the title in hand

Re: WWE Night of Champions - World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
If the report I read about Jeff still having not signed a new contract is true, then there's no chance he's going over at Night of Champions. This is like a B PPV so I don't think they'll pull off the full heel turn here. If they want to do it right, then they need to do it at a PPV like SummerSlam. Booking is looking good for Punk, and with Edge out, he'll more or less be the top heel on Smackdown, along with Jericho. It'd be good if they had Chris turn on Edge and some how give the Tag Title to Punk, but I can dream.
Either way, this is just gonna be another match with Jeff gets strong booking going in, but he gets screwed over. If Jeff doesn't sign another contract, I can see a storyline building where he is getting some what depressed that he's never able to keep hold of the title, or win it, thus leading to SummerSlam where Punk might finally push him over the edge and he leaves. If he does sign a contract though, he wins, quite simply really.

By the looks of things (& what i read on next weeks spoilers) it looks as if his heel turn he pretty much done. I don't see how the WWE can hold off his heel turn until SummerSlam. Especially when he's in a feud with arguably the biggest face on the SD roster

Re: WWE Night of Champions - World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
I don't read the spoilers so I don't know about next week lol. But yeah, his heel turn seems close to being the 360, especially after his drug reference; 'Just say No' anyone? When I can think about it, SummerSlam is just wayy too far away, two months nearly, and by then people will be getting bored with his character if he's hanging between face and heel. He just needs to do something huge which will clarify everything and make it seem obvious to casuals he's a heel, he'll probably attack Jeff or something at the PPV, or cheaply retain his title.

Re: WWE Night of Champions - World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
Was Matt moving to SD a way to turn him back face. Matt was a huge fan favorite when he turned on Jeff, and boom big swerve. Once this fued is over who can he really fued with? John Morrison? Undertaker? I would be all for Jericho, but they will not do that.
