I'd certainly care more if Mickie won, and I think people would care simply because she is the most over female in the company right now, and has been for years. People don't give a rats ass about Michelle, casuals that is, because she gets practically no reaction. This probably makes me look like a HUGE hypocrite because i was defending her in another thread, lol, but this is about holding both titles, not Michelles in-ring skills, anyways, it's a shame what has become of female wrestling. If i'm serious for a second, believe it or not, WWE do have a talented roster, and it's scary what they could produce if they learned how to book. But if they keep pushing Divas like Kelly down our throat, a girl who is still green and has been for nearly 3 years now, it wont work. Last year the division was looking alright, you had Mickie/Katie, Michelle/Nattie and Beth/Melina, but what happened? They jobbed out Nattie, dropped Katie, and Melina got injured, it fell apart. It seems WWE are trying to pick up from last year but with different feuds, and its nothing special, but it's alot better than the frenzy 2 minute Tag Matches we got. Sad part is here that they have put Kelly on the Raw intro, we may just see her being pushed even more.........joy.

Yeah I'd say that while the average fan doesn't care that much about the women's division (largely due to the way WWE present it), they would definitely care about Mickie becoming the first to hold both titles a lot more than they did Michelle. McCool has nothing about her which is entertaining. She has no charisma and isn't that good in the ring. Fans don't care. While I am fairly bored of Mickie, you can't deny that she gets better reactions than other divas and would have been a far better choice.

The problem with Maryse is that nobody really cares that she's champion. She has a fantastic character, she has bags of charisma, but that doesn't get any heat, and she's a heel. The whole point of being a heel is to get the crowd to hate you, Maryse gets wolf whistles, and cheers from guys. Right now, the title is just an accessory to her ring attire. If you get no reaction, then the crowd doesn't care. My problem with people is that they treat the title like crap. Fair enough it looks really stereotypical, but it's a new title, and people would moan that one title between three shows was stupid. If you didn't have two titles, then one show would have a focus, and the other wouldn't.

I can see Maryse going over Mickie at Night of Champions simply because Maryse still needs to establish herself. If the rumours that Vince is high on Maryse are true, then i'll double those odds. Mickie will end up with the title, maybe at Raw the next night, but either way, I think Maryse has got this in the bag. Mickie went over over twice *highlight for spoiler* actually three times because of Raw next week. You don't do that for nothing, because with Mickie going over like that already, it weakens the champion, and it also makes the win alot less meaningful.

As for holding both titles, it's a real big shame that Mickie wasn't the first to hold both. Michelle McCool technically beat Mickie James, they where indirectly competiting to hold both, but if you notice, Michelle was the one pushing the history thing, not Mickie. Whilst on commentary, Mickie was pushing Maryse being afraid of her, and that goes back to my other post, it's not a typical 'Me want title' feud. Michelle beat Mickie, and she didn't even do it in an exciting way.

Well I will be live for this one, and I hope to see Mickie walk out as the champ. But I am not sure, Mickie seems to have way to much over Maryse right now, so I don't know where they are going with this.

Anyways I hope Mickie leaves the champ, and if Maryse leaves as champ...I atleast hope for a good match. The McCool match...will be my piss break (Being that she will defend her title)

Mickie has had booking similar to Michelle, obviously its not as strong, but Mickie isn't showing any sign of backing down, but it's not a bad thing; it's the typical dominant look they give to a contender, Mickie wants to fight Maryse, but Maryse wont; therefore it's not knocking Maryses credibility like it did with Melina. Melina had to fight, Maryse didn't up until now. Either way, if Mickie is going over, then great, if Maryse is, great then too. My only problem with Mickie not going over, is that it'll make the past two months look pointless. Mickie has won Maryse twice, she's beaten Rosa on many occasions, she even had a win over Beth Phoenix, it'd be a huge push down if Maryse where to have a win, but at the same time, it depends on how she retains. As I said in another post, I wouldn't be surprised if they turned Maryse face, seeing as the face side of Raw is very weak, they have three Divas, and Maryse gets zero reaction as a heel. Though it'll be argued she wont pull off a face character as well as a heel one.
