Yeah, this makes little sense. Surely the logical progression would be Matt vs Jeff again because there is nothing to stop Matt costing Jeff the match again in the exact same way.
I expect this will be better than their prevoius two matches, but yeah I can't see this being good.

To be fair, from how it seems Matt cost Jeff the title and got a title shot. Seems like he was told/asked to do it.
But what if Matt did do it again? o.O I wouldn't be too shocked. Could see one of those spots where he's about to win, then Matt screws him and Jeff takes some big bump leading to him leaving for awhile due to "injury" and if he resigns you have a feud brewing still and if not then Matt can gloat he took his brother out once and for all.

If they were going down that route, I'd personally saw screw the brands, I want to see a Loser Leaves Town match. Could be epic, and obviously it would get Matt even more heat if he literally caused Jeff to leave by defeating him in a match.
I don't see any Matt interference, although I'm not ruling it out either. It would be a good way for all this to at least make some sort of sense. I'd go as far as saying it'd be ridiculous if Matt didn't interfere. He's done it once, what's stopping him now?

Exactly. If they had made this the cage match, that would make sense but otherwise the continuity is all over the place. Why would Matt screw Jeff once then not screw him again if he can?
I'm not a fan of Jeff vs Matt or Jeff vs Edge but atleast doing Jeff vs Matt would make sense.

They've already started the potential angle for Jeff leaving the WWE for a while... at least, I think.
Jeff sold his head more than usual - especially on the moves he did on Smackdown vs Edge. Turnbuckle dropkick, he 'lands' on his head and he's left a bit... doozy more than so usual, he got a top rope Edge-cution. I just saw alot of head bumps in the last previous matches moreso than usual and my assumption is that they may continue doing that until he goes bat shit crazy, gets a doctor saying he needs a break to give his head a rest or something.

this should be an good match, i actually liked their JD match i gave it ***1/2-***3/4 stars, i only thought the Rey/Jericho match was better i gave that a **** rating.
But, yeah this should be a very soloid match these two have good chemistry together IMO.

The commentators played it up "how did he get a title shot out of nowhere" then did the entire "well maybe it was because of the favour he did for Vickie..".
